Death Rule's Progress
It was that same unique, cool voice, delivered in a slow, deliberate tone, as if the other person had asked a question they didn't care about answering at all. Rog looked into her cool, purple eyes, but couldn't see a trace of expectation or eagerness in them.
But, as if by some strange twist of fate, he answered the question.
"I'm still not sure what this power is exactly. Let's just call it authority, the Authority of Lightning." To be honest, Rog really hadn't expected that something even the Sovereign hadn't noticed would be noticed by others!
The Authority of Lightning was a force that Rog mastered only in the Void environment. It is quite different from the Willpower, and is almost completely hidden within Rog's law-based techniques. Even the observing Sovereign couldn't detect anything about it. Yet, Ninisha sensed it!
"Don't worry." Ninisha seemed to have seen through Rog's thoughts in an instant. "Because my Laws of Lightning has reached the Paragon realm, and... therefore, I was able to see it. As far as I know, among the Sovereign, there shouldn't be anyone who has perfected the Lightning Law." Ninisha paused suddenly in the middle, but from her words, Rog confirmed the reason and couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.
It seems that to sense the existence of the ' Authority of Lightning,' one must at least reach the Paragon of the Lightning Law. Although there are seven Sovereign of the Lightning Element, it's not certain that any of them can reach the Paragon. Ninisha's subsequent speculation was not unfounded.
The idea of Paragon is indeed incredibly difficult. None of the seven Elemental Sovereign have achieved Paragon, and the possibility that other Lightning Element Sovereign have not achieved Paragon is not nonexistent.
Even so, he needs to be careful when using the Authority of Lightning in the future. Otherwise, if the Sovereign discover this power, it will be disastrous.
Before Rog was exposed, the Sovereign only thought he was highly talented and had unique abilities. Even after he banished Gunther, he was merely a slightly stronger god, far inferior to any Paragon. But once the Sovereign knew of the existence of the 'Authority' and that it could enhance their strength, Rog could already foresee the extent of their subsequent madness.
"Can I sense... authority?" The same slow, deliberate, and cold voice came through. Faced with Ninisha's request, Rog immediately fell silent.
Using the Bronze Door directly in the Infernal Realm is impossible; if exposed, he would lose this huge trump card. But directly refusing also has many problems. For example, the most direct point is that Ninisha's strength is above his!
Even if he banished Gunther, he still couldn't possibly be a match for a Paragon.
and...
"Let's go to the Gelaide Continent. That's my home, the Material Plane." In the Infernal Realm, Rog couldn't directly use the Bronze Door; only in the Material Plane could he feel relatively at ease.
"Okay." Ninisha didn't object, nor did she speak again, silently waiting for Rog's next move.
Although it was a bit of a headache, he really had to find a way to resolve this problem; otherwise, he wouldn't be able to put his mind at ease. At this point in time, he was far from ready to fight the Sovereign.

The Gelaide Continent.
"Lord Rog." Familiar surroundings always bring a sense of reassurance.
Rog led Ninisha to the central region of the Lost Forest.
"Before I lead you to this power, Overgod Oath," Rog suddenly said.
"Yes." Following Rog's request, Ninisha made the Overgod Oath without altering a single word, very decisively.
Seeing this, Rog finally felt relieved.
"Let's go." Rog used the power of the Bronze Door, and the two figures were swallowed up and disappeared. They could no longer be found anywhere on the entire Gelaide Continent.
"Here?" Ninisha ignored the other problems she was facing and instead emptied her mind to silently sense the power of lightning.
Besides, few people know that Ninisha's mastery of the Edicts of Fate is also astonishing. Although her Edicts of Fate is far from Paragon, after enough time, she has also gained a glimpse of the ' Authority of Fate '.
This sliver of ' Authority of Fate,' though not particularly powerful, is quite different from the supreme rule, the ' Edicts of Fate.' And this is something that no one but Ninisha herself knows.
This stay lasted for a full three thousand years. While Ninisha was comprehending, Rog was not idle either. However, with his current level of mastery of the laws, the ' Authority of Lightning ' he could control was indeed only a tiny fraction. In terms of death and light, he was far from proficient.
"Thank you." Rog was deeply moved by Ninisha's gratitude. Actually, when he first entered, he had the opportunity to kill her directly, but he didn't.
"No need." With unknown feelings, Rog returned to the Infernal Realm once more, and Ninisha followed Rog all the way back to Tianhua Prefecture.
"Does Lady Ninisha really intend to stay in Tianhua Prefecture forever?" Outsiders may not know, but the vampire maid Elmira has already guessed that Lady Ninisha has probably been by the lady's side for at least several thousand years.
"The power of rules is indeed slightly different from that of laws. With each level of cultivation, I gain new insights into the Death Rule." Previously, he thought that rules were like a forest, where any tree, once grown, could reach an extremely high level.
This understanding is correct, but not entirely correct. The various directions of a rule are not parallel, but rather differ in their level. Just as the Profound Mysteries of the Laws vary in degree, the depth that each direction of a rule can extend to is not entirely the same.
Moreover, it is impossible to reach the Asura level by cultivating only one direction; it is even difficult to touch the threshold of the Asura realm.
To truly master the rules of cultivation, one must have a thorough understanding of all aspects. Lacking any one element will prevent one from achieving perfection. Before, Rog was only particularly talented in one area— the Death Rule— while his talent in the other areas was relatively average.
In this light, it seems that his initial assessment of his talent was indeed quite flawed; his talent for the Death Rule was not slightly weaker than that for the Lightning Law, but rather significantly weaker.

If it weren't for the subsequent Three-element Soul Mutation, which led to another transformation of his soul, his original talent for the Death Rule would probably have only reached the level of an ordinary Seven-Star Fiend. Even now, he would probably only be able to reach the level of an ordinary Asura, and it would be very difficult for him to find hope of breaking through to the Paragon like he did with the Lightning Law.

This day.
"Buzz"
Another peculiar fluctuation of the Natural Laws descended, a fluctuation that the people of the City Lord's Mansion were not unfamiliar with. This was precisely the fluctuation of the Natural Laws associated with becoming a god, or the transformation of one's Godspark.
A Godspark radiating gray light flew out from Rog's body; this was none other than his Death Rule Godspark.
After another three thousand years, the Death Divine Clone finally fully digested the several diagrams obtained from Makenrich. At this point, his realm could be considered as the initial entry into the Asura, barely reaching the threshold of the Asura realm.
"Those diagrams are very likely not cultivation manuals left behind by Makenrich." Previously, Rog's realm was not very profound. When he killed Makenrich, he had only fused four of his strongest Laws of Lightning, and his Death Rule were quite ordinary. Therefore, he mistakenly thought that those diagrams were left behind by Makenrich, a senior Death Rule Asura.
