Back in the real world, visitors and a violent misunderstanding disrupted his writing, but the ensuing chaos brought a powerful cast together for Wen Yishan’s film and led Changkong Luo and Luo Tianming to pursue Mental Strengthening.

• Zhang Xuezhou sealed the formation’s acupoint, survived the Spiritual Qi tide, and later learned that the transformation of his Yang Corporeal Soul was disrupting his cultivation.
• The Exalted One used Zhang Xuezhou to test Yang Corporeal Soul Transformation, and Zhang Xuezhou then exchanged the technique with the Goat Strength Demon King while concealing what he had taught.
• Zhang Xuezhou fled to the Yedie River Holy Land, found the Book of Changes in Hongku’s residence, and later returned to the real world to write down his memories.
• Changkong Luo visited Zhang Xuezhou, and Zhu Haishan and Wen Yishan arrived to recruit him and others for The Smiling, Proud Wanderer.
• Zuo Lianguang entered the villa, then Zhou Rihui attacked him and Changkong Luo while Zhang Xuezhou kept writing and avoided the fight.
• Changkong Yinghao and Changkong Yinglian helped end the confrontation, and Wen Yishan recruited several of them for the film as the damaged villa was slated for repairs.
• Zhang Xuezhou filmed the Fengshan Terrace fight while Luo Tianming and Changkong Luo offered support for his Mental Strengthening lessons.

Zhang Xuezhou helped Ren Yisheng pursue the Yang Corporeal Soul Transformation Technique, then impersonated Hongku to lecture the Sacred Land’s venerables and flee its dangers. After helping Hongku expose a plot against them, Zhang Xuezhou reached Yanmen Pass, reunited with Zhang Qian, and learned about the Full Moon Scimitar manual.

• Zhang Xuezhou finished filming his death scene, revealed that the Sunflower Manual had given him True Qi, and learned from Zhang Xuezhou that he had reached Realm Entry.
• Zhang Xuezhou persuaded his parents to undergo X432 treatment and study the Mental Strengthening Chapter, then discussed its research with Ren Yisheng and Ren Anran.
• Ren Yisheng attempted the Yang Corporeal Soul Transformation Technique, while Ren Anran worried over his mental state and glimpsed a possible flaw in the fifth chapter of Mental Strengthening.
• Zhang Xuezhou shared Nine Treasures Wine with Hongku, who recovered some of his fighting endurance and warned that enemies might target him.
• After Hongku defeated Mage Honghua, Zhang Xuezhou disguised himself as Hongku and taught the Yang Corporeal Soul Transformation Technique to the Sacred Land’s venerables and dharma masters in exchange for valuable gifts.
• Zhang Xuezhou left the Sacred Land disguised as Hongku, but Demon King Jiu Feng pursued him, and Zhang Xuezhou convinced Jiu Feng that he was not Hongku and recruited him to seek out the person who had hired him.
• Dharma Master Hongyuan used an incantation to control Jiu Feng, but Hongku and Zhang Xuezhou trapped and killed Hongyuan and Honghua, freeing Jiu Feng.
• Zhang Xuezhou refined Hongyuan’s golden insect and reached Yanmen Pass, where Zhang Qian recognized him, brought him inside, and discussed the Full Moon Scimitar manual.

Zhang Xuezhou traveled to Chang'an, exchanged the Full Moon Scimitar Secret Manual for a Vajra Talisman, and reunited with Dong Zhongshu before testing a connection between Ren Anran and an ancient emperor. He then accompanied Ren Anran and Tuer Kalanduo to the Thousand Islands Alliance, where Ren Anran was drawn into the Tuer Clan’s succession rites and Zhang Xuezhou saved Kalanduo from a curse.

• Zhang Xuezhou traveled to Chang'an with Zhang Qian, met Wu Chao and Senior Brother Rulai on the road, and learned about the Sleepy Bug and Rulai’s cultivation.
• Zhang Xuezhou advised Wu Chao on surviving the Western Sect’s Buddha Son conflict, taught him the Yang Corporeal Soul Transformation Technique, and planned to pursue Jin Chang’s inheritance.
• Zhang Xuezhou presented the Full Moon Scimitar Secret Manual to the new emperor and received a Vajra Talisman, then visited Dong Zhongshu and gave him the poisoned Yellow Sand Technique scroll.
• Zhang Xuezhou woke in Western Capital City and found Ren Anran communicating with an emperor across worlds, while Ren Yisheng used the Yang Corporeal Soul Transformation Technique to form a tiny incarnation.
• Zhang Xuezhou traveled with Ren Anran and Tuer Kalanduo to the Thousand Islands Alliance, where Tuer Kelanduo’s Divine Spirit Aura led Ren Anran to accept the Tuer Clan inheritance and the name Tuer Anlanduo.
• Zhang Xuezhou learned that the Tuer God was reclaiming Kalanduo’s ability, broke a faint curse mark with his Law Power, and warned Kalanduo to conceal her remaining power.

Zhang Xuezhou and Ren Anran survived the Tuer God’s assault, while Ren Yisheng helped the Tuer Clan replace its god and demonstrate healing techniques. After Zhang and Rong Tianding returned to Chang’an, they became entangled in the search for Shi Wudao, whose corpse Qi threatened the imperial palace.

• Tuer Kalanduo revealed a hidden passage, and she and Zhang Xuezhou shot the shrine elders to stop their chanting and reach her mother.
• Zhang Xuezhou removed Soul Jade from the Tuer God’s axe, and the god attacked his mental world as Hongku emerged and challenged it.
• Ren Anran used the Dragon Elephant Combat Technique to help defeat the Tuer God, while Ren Yisheng overpowered him and later learned from Huang about Divinities.
• Tuer Kalanduo sought to replace the Tuer God, and Ren Anran broke the stone axe before Ren Yisheng agreed to cooperate with the Tuer Clan and help suppress Hongku.
• Zhang Xuezhou underwent X432 and X446 treatment, while Ren Yisheng and Ren Anran demonstrated the Supreme Purity True Technique to the Tuer Clan.
• After recovering beneath the collapsed Dong Residence, Zhang Xuezhou and Rong Tianding tried selling medicine and talismans in Chang’an, then encountered an injured woman who had escaped Cheng Bushi and Li Guang.
• Zhang Xuezhou treated the woman’s dangerous bleeding for payment, but Rong Tianding soon sensed a great ghost with corpse Qi and began transforming under its influence.
• Zhang Xuezhou restrained Rong Tianding and set his black hair alight, while Wang Zang’s attempt to locate Shi Wudao led the ministers to suspect the late emperor’s coffin was in danger.
