• Zijin revealed that she was the bone dragon sealed inside the White Triangle, and Su Ming helped her understand written English while they repaired the ship and its heavy gun.
• Su Ming and Zijin recruited Beianqi from the Molten Iron Mountain Range, towed the damaged Five Fangs to Willow Leaf Island, and prepared the White Triangle and Mark 71 for combat.

The White Triangle set out north with Hansite and Qiluo as the crew assembled steam locomotives for the journey across the icefield.

• Su Ming and Zijin defeated Yexiya at sea, seized her records, and discovered that the Truth Cult of the Plundering Clock had targeted the White Triangle.
• Qiluo joined the crew, and Su Ming and Zijin traveled to Brown Gold Island to obtain coal by draining a flooded mine.
• After Fyodor attacked Beianqi, Zijin killed him, and Su Ming and Zijin arranged to take control of the island’s coal resources through their company.

Su Ming and his companions tested the Youth Civilization, rescued kidnapped girls, and became entangled in violence surrounding the empress’s journey. The arc ended with the train crossing the Lower Ridge Mountains as a blizzard approached and a hidden puppeteer remained at large.

• Su Ming and Zijin redesigned the Youth Civilization for the northern journey, then tested it on the snow and survived a runaway train disaster that led Su Ming to add brakes and steering systems.
• Su Ming and Zijin awakened Gospel in the Heavenly Father statue by merging the locomotive’s thoughts into it, and Gospel later drove the Youth Civilization across the snowy plain.
• Su Ming tracked Qiluo to a kidnappers’ hideout, helped her defeat the gang, and rescued six girls, but he later killed Bennyfinn Whitaker and his guards when they tried to seize them.
• Yise and Jielusi took the rescued girls toward Dawn Territory, while Su Ming escaped the town search with Yise’s help and reunited with Zijin and Qiluo.

Su Ming rescued Katharine and Tuanzi, then joined her in a fight against the forces pursuing them. After devastating Jimite’s army, Su Ming uncovered his deception and met Princess Dafulin, who learned that Jimite and the Lords’ Alliance were behind the affair.

• Su Ming and Zijin rescued Katharine and her month-old baby, Tuanzi, and Katharine revealed the Divine Might Prison’s ties to the Sea of Divine Grace and her plan to destroy the Sacred Mountain.
• Katharine joined Su Ming’s plans and shared intelligence, while Zijin helped him evade pursuit and used an enhanced spell to rout the White Graupel Cavalry chasing Katharine and Qiluo.
