Story has a good setting but is poorly strung together. Many details are skipped, missed, or forgotten about. Example of becoming a god before even getting all rings for his second blood martial spirit. It's decent if you turn off your senses and just need a read to kill time.

Pretty fun. Read till chapter 200 then it got a bit too confusing for me to keep track of stuff so dropped it there. still fun.

It was pretty great for the first 100 chapters, then author started dropping 6k word chapters that are atleast 30-50% filler. after chapter 200 he basically throws out all his prep work and exposes himself which makes it so madara can bully him for 50 chapters straight. I think killing Danzo too early is what went wrong and the author had to compensate there being no antagonist before the big bad, which caused him to face madara early.

Great premise and setting, but author fumbled on magic system. Gold finger became increasingly useless as his power level increased and wasn't fleshed out well. After exploring synthesis options for gems in the beginning, he moved onto plants and never touched any other new materials.
The Great Magic system mechanics were too complicated for only being at the second ring and it still wasn't explained well.

Extremely funny novel. This is an anti-trope type novel for most western fantasy cliche settings. Recommend if you're bored from douluo fanfics.

It’s a bad fanfic with several inconsistencies. Reading it gave me a strange feeling—as if it were written by AI, or at the very least by someone who doesn't know all that much about Soul Land.

Constant references to memes and pop culture destroys the story's immersion and any tension. It's like reading a page off reddit.

Mc just upgrades and upgrades, he is consuming a huge mmount of resources, keeps adding different martial arts, would be great if he broke them down and created just one martial art that encompased everything but all he does is upgrade like a rocket.

Had not read any beast taming novels lately and I forgot I did not like them....

Ive read this and its pretty good. Feels like it slows down at the last third. But otherwise its a good fun read.

First 100 to 250 chapters are okay, quite a bit of chinese racism though, but it's a mostly novel plot, ending doesn't really hold up or deliver a great conclusion, it ties into the office previous work but they stopped writing after this book finished in like 2019

A somewhat unique story, with interesting paths to power, heavy lovecraftian and body horror themes.
9/10 would recommend reading if you enjoy horror, lovecraft, or thrillers.

Would not recommend if you have issues reading about gore, insects, holes in places they shouldn't be, and an overwhelming amount of eyes.

Update: Novel still good, hasn't fallen off, or added much filler. If anything I'd rate it slightly higher now.
