Uchiha Jin strengthened the Land of Rain, rose from the wars among the great nations to the Six Paths Realm, and overthrew Konoha’s leadership while Minato became Hokage. Jin established his rule in Rain and prepared to challenge the daimyo and nobles, as the revived Madara confronted Sasori.

  • Gato’s Money Army won the flag-capture exercise by burning the Medical Corps’ flag, while Jin advanced his cultivation and set plans in motion for the Land of Rain.

Arc 13War Across the Nations

Jin strengthened the Land of Rain, advanced his cultivation, and set plans in motion as war broke out among the Five Great Nations. The arc left Rain forces fighting Sunagakure and Iwagakure while Vander faced Mabiru after revealing his Zanpakutō abilities.

  • The Rain Army, Money Army, and Medical Corps fought a flag-capture exercise, which Gato’s Money Army won by burning the Medical Corps’ flag.
  • Jin showed Kakuzu how Asauchi became Zanpakutō and traveled with Yugito Nii to the Land of Seas, where he consumed the Ultimate Summoning Beast and broke through to the Third Layer of the Heavenly Demon Art.
  • Jin recruited Hinoka, gained Ryūchi Cave’s support in exchange for the Dragon Transformation Scripture, and ordered ten shinobi to assassinate the Five Great Daimyo.
  • Attacks on all five Daimyo triggered war, and Hiruzen Sarutobi dispatched Konoha forces against the Cloud, Sand, Stone, and Mist villages.
  • Jin captured Shinno and the Sora Ninja, destroyed their underground fortress, and brought them and their rebuilt fortress to the Land of Rain.
  • Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki fought A and Blue B on the Cloud front, and both sides withdrew after their finishing attacks left them injured.
  • Jin sent Hanzō, Kakuzu, and the Medical Corps to the fronts, then rescued a flaming-phoenix woman and forced Rasa to seek negotiations after the Rain forces defeated Sunagakure.
  • At the Iwagakure border, Vander drew Mabiru away from Kakuzu and struck him with Getsuga Tenshō, but Mabiru survived, activated the Rampage Technique, and challenged Vander to face death.

Arc 14The Third Layer War

As the great villages escalated their war and powerful fighters advanced to the Third Layer, Jin strengthened the Land of Rain and prepared its leaders for the coming conflict. The arc ended with Sunagakure’s renewed attack on Konoha and Bunpuku escaping Orochimaru’s defeat through Shukaku’s ability.

  • Kakuzu and Vander repelled Roshi and Iwagakure, but Jin ambushed the retreat, extracted the Four-Tails, and killed Roshi.
  • Orochimaru fought Bunpuku for nearly two weeks before Sunagakure and Konoha formed an alliance against Iwagakure, whose Ōnoki advanced to the Third Layer.
  • Jin defeated Ōnoki’s Dharma Body, while Minato later reached the Third Layer and lost a sparring match to Jin.
  • Nagato defeated Hanzō in a duel and received permission to establish the Akatsuki Army, while Jin’s clone reported Minato’s rapid progress.
  • Jin’s ritual advanced Kakuzu and Hanzō to the Third Layer, and they fought Ōnoki and Bunpuku before returning without capturing either opponent.
  • Sunagakure broke its treaty with Konoha and attacked in the Land of Rivers as Might Duy, Rasa, Sasori, and others entered the fighting.

Arc 15The Fourth Hokage’s Rise

Uchiha Jin seized control of the Kirigakure Front, helped force Hiruzen Sarutobi from office, and competed for Hokage while Minato Namikaze became the Fourth Hokage. Jin left the election unresolved with Minato and began preparing for the dangers he expected ahead.

  • Minato Namikaze killed the Iwagakure forces and, with Ōnoki’s help, killed the Third Raikage A, while Uchiha Jin recruited Kabuto and was sent to the Kirigakure Front.
  • Jin’s forces defeated the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, while Kakashi pursued Rin Nohara and witnessed her death after he killed her at her request.
  • Jin offered Kakashi a chance to restore Rin and took control of the Kirigakure Front, then led Konoha’s forces into Kirigakure and fought alongside Madara Uchiha.
  • Jin defeated Madara and destroyed Kirigakure’s forces, while Madara entrusted Black Zetsu with watching over Obito Uchiha and died using Life-Death Reincarnation Technique.
  • After the war, Jin challenged Hiruzen Sarutobi’s leadership as Konoha negotiated compensation and treaties with Iwagakure, Sunagakure, and Kumogakure.
