Background and History
The spear was forged by Long Daotian from a Four-Eyed Heavenly Firmament Blood Dragon that voluntarily sacrificed itself. Its dragon spirit survived within the weapon 115 142. Long Daotian left it in the Dragon Transformation Sect’s secret realm alongside the Heaven-Snatching Spirit-Transforming Pearl. The spear resented being left behind 115.
It awakened when Wang Yue entered the realm, recognizing the Ancestral Dragon’s aura on him. The spear offered to accept him as its master, then threatened him and drained his Qi and Blood when he refused. After sensing dragon-attribute essence in his blood, it let him leave—but secretly followed him, leaving blood-red pupil markings on his body 115 116.
When Wang Yue was nearly killed by four Grandmasters, the spear manifested from within him. He used it to kill his attackers and confront Jiang Yuting, though the clash left him severely injured 127. The spear later revealed its weapon form at Wang Yue’s request. Wang Yue extracted its dragon traits and bloodline, then deepened their bond through a blood sacrifice; the spear opened its origin to him and allowed him to refine it into an Incense Artifact 141 142 146.

Its treatment of Wang Yue becomes more cooperative over time. It guards him during his bloodline transformation, willingly opens its origin during their blood pact and helps him condense a Blood Heart 142 146 158.
