Background

Wang Yue was a modern man who had been working at a computer before suddenly transmigrating into the body of an inconspicuous collateral descendant of the Wang Clan. His parents, Wang He and Madam Liu, possessed neither martial training nor political influence within the clan. Initially thin, pale, and physically frail, he sought martial arts training as a way to escape an ordinary life. 1 21

At the Wang Clan training ground, Wang Yue awakened his Martial Soul, the Golden Finger, after touching a wooden stake. It granted him the complete experience of Harmonious Flow Fist—including fist techniques, footwork, and breathing—and enabled him to extract abilities from compatible objects.
