Ron rallied the Imperium and Chaos forces under his command to confront the Chaos Gods, defeat Angron, and secure strategic worlds. The volume ended with Ron’s fleet returning to Phanes Prime to help its people against the awakened Kharozas Dynasty.

Arc 25The Vostonia Campaign

Ron and the Imperium mobilized to confront the Chaos threat in the Vostonia Pan-Sector, while Diablo’s Legion of Fear gained followers and helped defend the Lion. After the Primarchs reunited and defeated Fulgrim’s ambush, Ron assigned them opponents as more fallen Primarchs approached.

  • The Lion destroyed the Chaos invasion with the Dark Angels and Extermination Automata, then prepared to seek reinforcements in Vostonia as a massive Warp rift threatened the sector.
  • The Savior declared a Great Purge, and the Imperium recalled veterans, produced millions of combat armors, and assembled fleets, weapons, and automata for war.
  • Ron organized the Vostonia campaign with Guilliman and Jaghatai Khan, then trapped Chaos fleets and forced captured warriors to join the Legion of Fear.

Arc 26The Warmaster’s Wager

Ron won Perturabo and the Iron Warriors through a three-part wager, then gathered Chaos forces under his command and declared a campaign to slay the gods. He reached Orensis to rescue Guilliman, where Fulgrim’s broadcast illusion backfired when Ron turned it into an apparent display of the Emperor’s power.

  • Ron led the Emperor of the Imperium toward Fulgrim’s Demon Palace, but the Chaos Array captured Guilliman and sent him into the Warp Arena.
  • Guilliman fought Fulgrim and the daemons, but was defeated, captured, and subjected to torture and illusions as Fulgrim sought to seize his authority with the Morgath Stone.
  • Ron challenged Perturabo to a three-part wager and won the art and mechanical contests after conceding the swordsmanship round.
  • Ron claimed the Iron Warriors and Chaos Mechanical Legion, then persuaded Perturabo to return from Chaos by revealing his identity as Perturabo’s Spirit Net friend and honoring his old mechanical lamp.

Arc 27Angron’s Fall and Erebus’s Return

Ron defeated the Chaos Gods’ assault, then led the Imperium through the battle against Angron and the campaign to reclaim Vostonia. After the victory and plans to raise a new Angron, Erebus’s return forced Ron to accelerate the conquest of Vigilus and gather his Primarch brothers for war.

  • Ron humiliated the Chaos Gods with his Pleasure Illusion, withstood their attacks through the Sun of Hope, and escaped Fulgrim’s trap with Guilliman and Perturabo.
  • Ron and his allies learned that Angron was devastating Vostonia, then fought him as Guilliman fell and Jaghatai Khan awakened his Warp nature.
  • Ron piloted the Redemption Armament, used The Emperor’s power to subdue Angron, and tore out the Butcher’s Nails.

Arc 28The Siege of Phanes

Ron took control of Alaitoc and later intervened when the Imperium’s Third Diocese attacked Phanes Prime, where Necrons and humans lived under Zabok’s rule. After defeating the Ecclesiarchy forces with his Legion of the Damned, Ron faced Zabok’s awakened dynasty and its powerful Blackstone cannon.

  • Corax discovered Erebus’s Primarch cloning vats, while Erebus won the Chaos Gods’ backing for a plan to isolate the Emperor from the Warp and destroy Holy Terra.
  • Ron led Imperial and allied forces to Alaitoc, defeated its invaders, and secured the Craftworld by spreading aid and the worship of Isha before taking control of its Infinity Circuit.
  • Ron sent Fran to investigate Phanes Prime and found the Kharozas Dynasty protecting a prosperous human population, but the Third Diocese declared the planet heretical and began its attack.
