Ron evacuated Phanes Prime, brought the Kharozas Dynasty into the Imperial campaign, and helped retake Vigilus while investigating a cure for the Necrons. As Dorn returned to Terra disguised as a pilgrim, he saw the Savior’s influence across the Imperium and learned the Phalanx was gone.

• Ron convinced Zabok to evacuate Phanes Prime before the Kharozas Dynasty excavated its Tomb World, then sent the dynasty’s fleet to join the fight for Vigilus.
• Ron and Imperial forces defeated Abaddon’s Black Legion and Erebus’s plans, destroyed the Blackstone Fortress, and retook Vigilus.
• Ron investigated the Flayer Virus and discovered traces of Llandu'gor’s memories, then planned to use a new virus and faith to make Necrons believe their souls were returning.
• Rogal Dorn left Corax in the Warp and traveled to Terra disguised as an abhuman pilgrim aboard Redemption 113.
• Dorn fought alongside the pilgrims when Chaos forces attacked the ship, then watched the War Angels destroy the retreating enemy.
• Ron addressed the pilgrims and described plans to use Blackstone against Chaos and an Emotion Virus with faith deception against the Necrons, while Dorn grew suspicious of the Savior’s power.
• Dorn arrived in the Solar System, saw the Savior’s image across the stars, and learned that the Adeptus Mechanicus had taken the Phalanx because it was too old.

Ron contained Dorn’s assault, reconciled him with The Emperor, and took charge of the Golden Throne’s failing repairs as Chaos prepared to attack Terra. After the Grey Knights destroyed Purgatory Bastion with Ron’s Warp weaponry, Kaldor Draigo returned to Titan to begin the Edict of the End, and Ron traveled there to learn what came next.

• Dorn infiltrated Terra’s defenses, attacked the Iron Warriors’ construction site, and fought Ron before a Warp rift opened and released Greater Daemons.
• Ron forced the daemons to surrender and leave Terra, then subdued Dorn and arranged for him to meet The Emperor.
• The Emperor attacked Dorn in the Throne Room, but Ron protected him, fought The Emperor’s projection, and later persuaded The Emperor to record an apology for his son.
• Dorn accepted Ron as his elder brother, trained with the Imperial Fists, and received Primarch armor, the Savior’s Armory, and a Truth Alloy shield.
• Ron learned that the Golden Throne might fail within a year and accelerated its repairs while keeping Cawl Sali’s plan to eject it into the Chaos Realm as a last resort.
• Kovan led the Grey Knights in destroying Purgatory Bastion with a Hell Missile, but then received orders to return to Titan as Kaldor Draigo prepared the Edict of the End.
• Ron traveled to Titan with equipment, where Kovan defended his alliance with Ron and assembled with the Grey Knights to await Draigo’s Edict.

Ron repaired the Golden Throne, retrieved the Eternal Soul, and returned as Horus’s forces besieged Terra. Horus’s assault met the Savior’s vast defenses and stubborn Imperial resistance, while the fighting continued across the war zones.

• Kaldor Draigo and the Grey Knights opened Malcador’s tomb and prepared to carry out the Edict of the End, but the Custodes blocked their approach until Kovan negotiated their entry.
• Ron revealed that he had briefly taken the Golden Throne while The Emperor repaired it, then gave Kaldor Draigo a rib as a relic and sent the Grey Knights to Titan.
• Ron entered the Warp to retrieve the Eternal Soul, reunited with Guilliman, and took control of the ship after Xiao Ling defeated its Machine Spirit.
• Ron and Guilliman learned that Chaos was opening a passage toward the Solar System, but Vengeful Spirits trapped the Eternal Soul and delayed their return as Horus’s forces besieged Terra.
• Horus directed the Chaos assault on Mars and Terra, while Mortarion’s Plague Army broke through the Wall of Arat and attacked Oris Will’s defenders.
• Ron blessed the defenders of the Wall of Arat, enabling Oris and the workers to defeat the Maggot Herald and evacuate before Mortarion encountered Terra’s hidden defenses.
• Horus’s forces attacked the Space Steel Wall, but Imperial weapons, statues, and Custodes blunted their advances as Horus began directing a broader offensive.
• Horus learned that Imperial supplies and Auramite-armored troops were abundant, then ordered the assault on the Eighth War Zone while Draining and Rogal Dorn’s forces prepared to hold their positions.

Ron’s return turned the Chaos assault on Terra into a counteroffensive, while the Imperium relocated Terra and rallied its forces to capture New Dragon Forest Planet. After securing the planet and preparing its defenses, Ron watched Guilliman become isolated before Horus’s fleet, where Horus attacked him directly.

• Rogal Dorn’s intelligence suggested Horus had hidden a vast army, but Horus used the deception to pin down Imperial forces while attacking the Eighth War Zone.
• Horus broke through the Steel Great Wall’s defenses, but the retreating Imperial ships revealed another vast defensive line, and the Chaos Gods opened a Dark Rift through it.
• Rogal Dorn fought Horus in the Armor of Redemption, but Horus damaged the armor and destroyed it after Dorn escaped, and Ron arrived as Chaos forces advanced toward Terra.
• Ron took the Emperor’s place on the Golden Throne, allowing the Emperor to confront Horus and the Fallen Primarchs, while the Mechanicus moved Terra into Dawn City’s Webway.
• Ron’s Sun of Hope rallied Imperial defenders, and Lion, Jaghatai Khan, Perturabo, young Angron, and allied forces arrived as Horus retreated toward New Dragon Forest Planet.
• Ron’s forces, including Steel-Tooth’s Orks and Lao Ba’s Tyranids, delayed Horus while the Imperial coalition captured New Dragon Forest Planet and Ron took control of its Chaos Temple and mechanical defenses.
• Ron ordered the planet’s linked weapons to destroy Chaos warships as Horus and the Fallen Primarchs arrived, and Guilliman’s ship appeared alone before their fleet.
• Horus ordered his fleet to capture Guilliman, breached the Eternal Soul, and destroyed its engine room, and Guilliman attacked Horus, but Horus caught and crushed his sword.
