Background / History
The Sea Clan inhabits the vast oceans and includes branches such as the Merman Tribe, Sea Giant Tribe, and Sea Shark Tribe, each occupying different waters and ecological domains. Their origin tradition holds that they were enlightened by the ancient Dragon God. 365
During the Sea Clan's self-described Manifestation Era, it controlled more than half of the Three Thousand Worlds and treated humanity as vassals in Sea Clan-ruled worlds. A later racial war reversed that dominance: rising human experts defeated the Sea Clan, nearly exterminating it and confining its people to only two or three worlds. The Sea Clan calls this defeat the Darkest Age. 367
After sealing off its territories for roughly ten thousand years, the Sea Clan rebuilt its strength. It possesses more than ten Yang God-level combatants, and a new immortal-level figure emerged three hundred years before the Golden Mulberry Secret Realm incident. 371 By the later Ancient Immortal Sect Ruins expedition, news had spread that the Sea Clan possessed a third immortal. 483
Its leadership views the Human Clan as both a historical enemy and a source of territory, spiritual energy, and cultivation resources. Sea Clan probes into the Netherworld Realm were intended to assess surviving human immortal-level powers before escalating its plans. 371 373
Appearance
Sea Clan members are broadly humanoid but visibly distinct from humans through aquatic traits.
- Deep-blue, crystal-like eyes. 365
- Azure scales embedded between the brows; royal bloodlines have been shown with three scales arranged like a plum blossom. 365 427
- Gill-like openings beneath the jaw. 365
- Physical builds vary greatly, from slender humanlike figures to massive blue-skinned giants. 365
- Their auras are distinguishable from those of human cultivators. 444
Society and Organization
- The Sea Clan is divided into clans, whose rivalries can become violent when resources, inheritance, or status are at stake. 476
- The Zha Clan, Tie Clan, and Hu Clan are royal clans. The Zha and Tie Clans are long-established royal houses, while the Hu Clan rose after one of its immortals ascended in recent years. 486
- The Hu Clan's more recent elevation leaves it with a weaker foundation than the older Zha and Tie royal lines. 486
- Sea Clan members possess a strong supremacist current exemplified by Zaku, who regards humans as prey or potential vassals. 365
- Internal unity is pragmatic rather than absolute; Sea Clan Yang Gods turned on one another over the Demon Immortal Remains and Netherworld Dao Fruit. 475 476
“Becoming food and vassals to our Sea Clan is the ultimate destiny of humanity.” — Zaku 365

Abilities and Methods
Physical Constitution
Sea Clan cultivators possess strong physical bodies in addition to Magic Power. Their bloodline is described as partly inherited from the ancient Witch Clan; while generally below Demon Race physiques of the same realm, they greatly exceed ordinary human cultivators. 473
- The Yang God Eighth Layer Sea Clan Royal practiced a body-refining secret art. 473
- Sea Clan combatants can maintain formidable close-quarters strength alongside Daoist cultivation. 473
Royal Innate Divine Abilities
Royal bloodlines possess specialized innate methods unavailable to ordinary Sea Clan members.
- Ice Soul Cold Light — Zaku's royal ability freezes the surrounding void, vegetation, and terrain in frigid light. 368
- Royal cold-breath technique — Hu Meng releases intertwining streams of dark-blue icy breath capable, at sufficient mastery, of freezing even immortals. 474
- Sea Yaksha Dharma Form — the Yang God Eighth Layer royal manifested an eighty-zhang, six-armed Sea Yaksha capable of assaulting the Lesser Northern Star Origin Array. 427
- The Sea Yaksha Dharma Form emitted black light that shielded Sea Clan forces from the Ancient Great Array's Wind of Nothingness. 427
Blood Sacrifice Ferocious Beast Art
A Sea Clan sacrificial technique that consumes the caster's flesh and blood to unleash devastating power.
- A Yang God Sixth Layer Sea Clan cultivator used it to summon a bone dragon stronger than the two Yang God Sixth Layer combatants present. 451
- Dao Alliance records state that the art killed many great human experts during the ancient Human–Sea Clan war. 451
- Its use carries an extreme personal cost because the caster expends their own body and blood as fuel. 451
Water and Soul Methods
Sea Clan cultivators employ water- and sea-themed offensive methods alongside soul-based techniques.
- Sea Clan Yin God cultivators used rising water pillars to pursue and kill a fleeing human cultivator. 428
- A Yang God Sixth Layer Sea Clan cultivator commanded several demon-spirit-like souls against the ancient palace's Protector Array. 470
- Chalong summoned a massive ray demon spirit through a conch-like item. 478

- Saka — Yin God Sixth Refinement Sea Clan member who questioned Zaku's decision to kill Chen Yan's subordinates; later killed by Chen Yan. 365 371
- Talon — Blue giant-like Yin God Sixth Refinement Sea Clan member who carried the sealed Wood Spirit Physique and pursued Wang Lingguan with a spiked Dao Artifact. 365 366
- Hu Meng — Hu Clan royal and Yang God Eighth Layer leader of the Sea Clan force in the Ancient Immortal Sect Ruins. 427 486

Story Role / Major Arcs
Golden Mulberry Secret Realm Expedition
Zaku, Saka, and Talon entered the Golden Mulberry Secret Realm as part of a Sea Clan probe of the human race. They killed the Four-Winged Cold Cicada's true body, seriously wounded Wang Lingguan, sealed the Wood Spirit Physique, and intended to take it back for refinement into lesser immortal-treasure-grade pills. 365 371
Chen Yan arrived in time to rescue Wang Lingguan and recover the Wood Spirit Physique. Zaku was killed, followed by Saka; Chen Yan used Talon and Saka's memories to uncover the Sea Clan's restored Yang God and immortal-level strength. 370 371
Preparations for Conflict
After Zaku's group died, a Sea Clan superior in the Star Realm ordered the wider plan to continue, dismissing the possibility that human forces had uncovered it. 385
The Sea Clan sought to exploit declining spiritual energy in its controlled worlds by expanding into richer worlds. Its intelligence-gathering and raids were preparatory steps toward a wider struggle with humanity. 371 373
Ancient Immortal Sect Ruins Ambush
Sea Clan Yang God True Monarchs lay in wait outside the Ascension Gate. Allied human traitors contaminated the Lesser Northern Star Origin Array with Blood Filth Divine Light, exposing the human expedition to the Divine Wind and enabling the Sea Clan assault. 426 427
Hu Meng led the attack with a Yang God Eighth Layer Sea Yaksha Dharma Form, while the Sea Clan army targeted human Yang Gods and promising younger cultivators such as Chen Yan, Li Shouyi, and Little Monk Tianyin. The stated strategic purpose was to create a future gap in the Human Clan's younger generation of Yang God combatants. 427 428 433
Battles with Chen Yan
The Sea Clan repeatedly underestimated Chen Yan due to outdated intelligence that placed him near Zaku's former level. A Yin God Nine Refinements Sea Clan female cultivator was sent against him and was immediately beheaded. 429
Within the ruins, Chen Yan killed Sea Clan Yang God opponents at the Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Layers, including Chasong and Chalong. These defeats frightened other Sea Clan cultivators and weakened their position in the expedition. 431 445 446 451 494
Baleful Qi Lake and the Ancient Palace
At Baleful Qi Lake, Hu Meng temporarily restrained his subordinates from attacking Chen Yan's group in accordance with an agreement over the unknown treasure. 463 467
The Sea Clan later proposed a temporary partnership to break the ancient palace's immortal-level Protector Array, agreeing that each side would attack from separate directions and claim any treasure by ability. The alliance collapsed once Dragon Girl Ao Shuang's Silver Dragon Jade Pendants shattered the barrier. 469 471
Inside the palace, the Sea Clan joined the Rebirth Cult in opposing the human camp over the Demon Immortal Remains and Netherworld Dao Fruit. Their cooperation deteriorated as Sea Clan cultivators ambushed one another for the remains, while Hu Meng was held off by Ao Shuang. 473 475 476
