Copying Su Duanqiu’s Clear Heart Sword Intent establishes his sword-cultivation path. Su Bai refines the Soaring Dragon Sword into his natal spirit sword and obtains a recommendation to Azure Fish Hall. Fu Yunshen warns him that the organization operates independently of Qingzhou’s three sects and directs him to its registration headquarters 121.

In Demon Star Sea, Su Bai becomes True Man He’s sole disciple and operates publicly as Alchemist Lu Jiu. After a year of intensive instruction, he emerges as a Foundation Establishment Realm Alchemy Grandmaster and makes Primordial Chaos Pills the main product of Number Nine Pill Shop. As a Nascent Soul cultivator, he becomes Vice Alliance Leader of the Heavenly Star Alliance and exercises leadership at Starlight Academy.
