"Captain recruited someone new again? Wasn't the exam still a week away?"
Hearing George's voice, everyone except the sister-obsessed guy turned around curiously.
"Probably another one he picked up somewhere outside."
Everyone quickly came to the same conclusion.
After all, none of them had joined the Black Bulls through the Magic Knights exam either.
Their Captain didn't recruit based on strength or status. He mostly went by instinct, so he rarely chose people from the Magic Knights exam.
"Little brother, come have a drink with your big sister."
The woman with wavy hair lounged on the sofa and beckoned George over with a seductive smile.
"Come on, tell us how the Captain recruited you."
George walked over and sat opposite the sofa. Just as he was about to speak, the woman with wavy hair opened her mouth and threw up a rainbow all over the floor.
"Just how much did she drink?"
Shaking his head, he took out his Grimoire and turned to one of its pages.
"Clean up!"
"Quick Restore!"
One spell cleaned the rainbow off the floor, while the other dispelled the woman with wavy hair's drunken state.
During the journey to the Royal Capital, aside from enjoying the scenery, he had not been doing nothing.
Whenever he had free time, he carefully studied the Grimoire, the initial manifestation of this world's laws, and added a tiny bit of magic to it along the way.
Of course, none of it was particularly extraordinary. They were merely useful little spells for everyday life.
He was afraid that creating overly extraordinary magic would draw the attention of this world's Creation God.
Although he had already stolen this body's fate and would not reveal any flaws, being watched by a Creation God at all times was hardly a pleasant experience.
