Miejue inherited the Emei Sect during a period of decline. Many elders had died in the Taihu Lake incident, Fengling Shita had passed away, and the sect lacked an expert at the Condensing Qi into Essence realm. She established Emei's uncompromising protection of its territory after an Emei disciple was abducted by traffickers. Miejue deployed the sect's elders and inner disciples alongside local authorities, spending nearly three years eradicating proven criminal elements in Emei's sphere of influence. 60
