Treant: Its enormous body stood five meters tall, and its vines were even longer than its body. As they whipped through the air with a whistling sound, any rolling stones they touched were wrapped around twice. Somehow, the vines bored into them, crushing even sizable boulders to pieces.
Seeing this, Wu Yan's butt clenched. He tightened his hold on Mikoto and Hinagiku in his arms and shuddered.
This treant, proficient in tentacle monster techniques, was a formidable enemy!
Wu Yan instantly made that assessment. He watched the treant's dancing vines warily and decided it would be best to end this quickly.
If I got tangled up, my chastity would be ruined. And if the two girls in my arms got tangled up, I wouldn't even have a place to cry. If I got NTR'd by a tree, I might as well just die.
Wu Yan had already forgotten that Mikoto was level 69...
"Is it the king of this place?" Hinagiku poked her head out of Wu Yan's arms. She had more or less grown used to being held by him, but with Mikoto beside her, she still felt a little shy. After glancing at the treant, she hurriedly shifted her attention elsewhere.
"I don't know..." If Hinagiku was only somewhat embarrassed, Mikoto was thoroughly embarrassed. This was not the first time Wu Yan had held her, but the first time had been after her slaughter, when she had not been in her right state of mind. The second had been when she first learned about the Sisters, and she had not been in her right state of mind then either. Being openly held like this was still a first for her...
Wu Yan was not thinking that much. Forget holding them—he had even bathed them before. Why would he care now? All he cared about was this tentacle treant, and he wanted nothing more than to chop it to death.
Even if it were not the archenemy of all men, Wu Yan still remembered the grudge from that vine strike earlier. If Dragonscale Armor had not completely nullified attacks below level 50, that whip would have left him limp. How could he not hold a grudge?
"You two wait here. I'll chop it into scraps first!" Wu Yan said as he put the two girls down, leaving them both somewhat puzzled.
Did Yan have some kind of grudge against that treant?
"Do you not need me to fight?" After Wu Yan put her down, Mikoto lowered her head with a red face, silently annoyed at herself. It had only been a minor tremor. She could have stabilized herself with a little electromagnetic force, so why had she not thought of that at the time? And why had she fallen right into Yan's arms...
"Let's do it together. End this quickly!" To avoid getting NTR'd, Wu Yan was going all out.
Mikoto adjusted herself and nodded indifferently. A level 45 monster was merely a small fry to her. If it had been together with that army of monsters from before, she might have been somewhat wary. But just one of them?...
"What about me?" Hinagiku hurriedly made her presence known.
"You stay by Mikoto's side!" Wu Yan said quickly. With a wave of his left hand, a katana appeared out of thin air in his grasp.
"Oh..." Hinagiku answered somewhat unwillingly. She cared deeply about being too weak to help Wu Yan, but the situation was different from before. She no longer had Brilliant Breath. Charging in recklessly would only mean death.
Seeing Hinagiku's expression, Mikoto patted her shoulder and whispered into her ear, "Once you become one of Yan's summoned characters, you'll be able to grow stronger without limit. When that time comes, you can help him!"
Hearing Mikoto's words, Hinagiku finally felt a little better. She nodded firmly to show that she understood.
"It's coming!" A vine lashed toward the three of them. Wu Yan hurriedly warned them and drew the newly acquired Tessaiga. The ancient yet silver-bright blade flashed, and the thigh-thick vine fell to the ground.
"Now that's more like it! No wonder it's the weapon of an eternal moe girl!" Wu Yan said in pleasant surprise, stroking Tessaiga in his hand. Though he knew there was a tremendous difference between equipment of different grades, Tessaiga's power still exceeded his expectations. At the very least, it was sharp enough...
