Background / History

Zhe Han first approached Yang An in white robes and recruited him into the Traitorous Scripture Society, presenting membership as a way for people like them—Innate Flesh Scourges—to seek survival. He gave Yang An the Vile-Mouthed Bow and identified himself only as the Workshop Master. The bow's provenance later revealed him as the master of Jade Lang Artifact Forging Workshop. 112

As the society's unseen organizer, he used the Flesh-Tree for long-distance communication and container teleportation. He directed missions to Jueyun Sect, warned members when their teleportation left them trapped in an independent space, and intervened in internal disputes with final authority. 120 125 142

After recovering a forbidden artifact fragment from Jueyun Sect, Zhe Han merged it with the Flesh-Tree and began experimenting on himself as a template to help Innate Flesh Scourges break through into the Flesh Rupture Realm. The procedure could succeed or fail and left varying after-effects, but Broken Hand and White Bird both completed their breakthroughs through it. 153 237

He later made Yang An the operational leader of the Traitorous Scripture Society, while retaining decisive influence over its direction. His stated objective was to return to the Central Continent; he entrusted Yang An with unifying the society because Yang An had the greatest chance of achieving that goal. 283 295

In the Central Continent, Zhe Han revealed that he had cooperated with Miao Ye, the Lesser Heavenly Dao, to save the Origin World or, failing that, revive the Central Continent. He described himself as the last remaining remnant of the Four Great Heavenly Sects and carried their will. 447 448

During the confrontation with Ming He, Zhe Han fought to buy Yang An time to reach the Immortal Platform Realm. When Ming He used the true Wei Dang Xie Arrow against him, Zhe Han's mask shattered and revealed a face identical to Yang An's original face. Ming He explained that Zhe Han was another version of Yang An, guided by Miao Ye; Zhe Han then vanished as his memories, power, and the Flesh-Tree were transferred to Yang An. 450 452
