Background / History

Ning Qiu awakened as a soul master in Holy Soul Village and became the host of the Village Chief System. Before learning his own Martial Soul, he was already confident that his knowledge would let him develop even an apparently weak Martial Soul into something formidable 2.

He protected Xiao Wu after the village’s Identity Certificate exposed her as the incarnation of a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soft Bone Rabbit. Rather than coveting her Soul Ring or Soul Bone, he recognized her as a permanent villager under his protection and offered her a place in his family 12.

After killing Scarface of the Black Wolf Gang with his First Soul Skill, Ning Qiu earned the villagers’ respect. Old Jack and the villagers subsequently appointed him village chief; Ning Qiu established rules linking village membership, land development, tasks, Contribution Points, and the opportunity to gain Soul Power 20 21.

He treats villagers as people under his responsibility, protecting Xiao Wu after learning her identity and seeking favorable treatment for Holy Soul Village residents undertaking God Tests 12 97. He also identifies and recruits talent, as shown by his efforts to bring Zhu Zhuqing, Feng Xiaotian, Qing Lin, and others into the village 45 130 206.

His ruthlessness emerges when he believes future threats must be eliminated.
