Background

Holy Soul Village began as a peaceful farming village in Fasinuo Province. Its defining historical symbol was a handprint on the village-square stone pillar, attributed to Old Jack's grandfather, a Level 71 Soul Saint. The mark was later revealed to have been made in grief after the Soul Saint failed to protect his wife from an Evil Soul Master, rather than as a simple emblem of glory. 1 24

Before Ning Qiu's system transformed the settlement, the village had gone ten years without producing a child capable of becoming a Soul Master. Its residents primarily farmed and sold vegetables, while Old Jack served as Village Chief. 1

Ning Qiu bound the village to the Strongest Village Chief System as its probationary chief. Through land transformation, recruitment, construction, and missions, Holy Soul Village became a community in which ordinary villagers could earn Soul Power and Contribution Points. 4 5 10 31

Governance and Membership

Ning Qiu became the village's central leader, initially as Probationary Village Chief, later Apprentice Village Chief, and eventually Village Chief. Old Jack stepped back from administration but remained an influential elder and combatant. 5 92 227

Admission

Later membership rules generally required one of the following:

• Awakening with Innate Full Soul Power at age six or younger.
• Reaching the Soul Saint realm at Level 70.

Military

Holy Soul Army

After the Four Great Bandits raided the village and killed 49 residents, Ning Qiu organized the Holy Soul Army for suppression operations. Six hundred and fifty-five villagers initially took part. 76 77

The army grew from inexperienced villagers into a Soul Master force. By the conflict with the Barak Kingdom, every village resident was a Soul Master, although many initially remained below high-level combat realms. 108 110
