History and Origin

Devil Fruits originated from a branch of the World Tree stolen and planted on Sea Star by Uranus, a former Core Person who had consumed a Golden Fruit. Unable to grow perfectly outside Realm Core Star, the branch mutated into the Devil Fruit Tree and produced defective fruits rather than new Core People. These fruits grant chaotic powers but lack the dimensional power of the original Golden Fruits 295.
