• Malcolm Sharma reported that Fred and George had asked Muggles about buying an airplane, while Vizet asked him to gather public impressions and Dumbledore wrote that he had located a Horcrux.
• Ravenclaw defeated Gryffindor 530–150 after Vizet scored repeatedly with advanced flying techniques, and Angelina revised Gryffindor’s training plans for Ron.
• Professor McGonagall and Professor Flitwick showed Vizet how a Patronus could anchor an Animagus against animal instinct, and Vizet successfully cast a Patronus in Golden Eagle and owl form.

Draco and Cedric crossed beyond Animal Instinct, enabling new magical effects and helping advance Vizet’s Animagus research. As Lupin learned that his lycanthropy could soon be cured, Fenrir Greyback remained imprisoned while Vizet continued studying him.

• Draco and Cedric practiced Animagus magic with Professor McGonagall, Professor Flitwick, and Vizet, and Draco crossed beyond Animal Instinct by using a Wand-Lighting Charm to revisit a happy memory.
• Draco cast the Sunny Skies Charm through the storm, while Malcolm Sharma questioned the sudden change and learned that Vizet planned to publish his Weather Charm research.
• Cedric crossed beyond Animal Instinct and learned to combine his Animagus form with magic by drawing on the Seeker’s sense of unity with flight.
• Vizet told Malcolm Sharma that he had arranged for similar research materials from several leaders, prompting Malcolm to warn his superior against using delayed materials as leverage.
• Lupin received Vizet’s letter asking him to gather werewolf wizards in New York over Christmas, and he told Sirius and Tonks that his lycanthropy would soon be cured.
• Lupin and Tonks warned that Fenrir Greyback might attack if he learned of the cure, while Sirius dismissed the danger and had Kreacher insult Greyback.
• Fenrir Greyback, imprisoned in Vizet’s laboratory, dreamed of merging with his inner werewolf and feared Vizet would discover his secret.

Vizet and Luna grew closer over Christmas as Dobby joined their family and the Longbottoms offered Vizet their support. Meanwhile, Grindelwald discussed the rising magical upheaval with Serena Pendragon and revealed his plan to make Nurmengard fly.

• Vizet returned Fenrir Greyback’s memories, then left the laboratory and shrank it into a keychain-sized pocket space.
• Vizet and Luna shared Bane’s berries, prepared for Christmas, and welcomed Dobby as family when he offered them his saved wages.
• Vizet and Luna met the Longbottoms, who described Dark Wizards and Muggle criminals cooperating in North America and asked about the planned Lycanthropy Disease treatment.
