Originally named Tong Yin Zhong, Yin Zhong was a member of the Tong Clan. He secretly cultivated the forbidden Dragon God Skill, believing the clan elders were foolish to withhold a technique capable of granting immortality. The elders expelled him and barred him from returning to Tong territory. 368 394

His daughter, Yin Feng, apparently died after his expulsion. Grief, anger, and his desire to become a god capable of reviving her drove Yin Zhong to ally with an emperor and attack the Tong Clan, forcing the clan into five centuries of seclusion. 394

During the conflict, Long Teng used the Spirit Mirror against Yin Zhong at the cost of his own life. The resulting wound in Yin Zhong’s chest plagued him for five hundred years: it repeatedly reopened, drained his blood, caused severe pain, and prevented him from using his full strength. 334 377 417

Yin Zhong’s son Yin She established Imperial Sword Manor. Over the centuries, Yin Zhong remained within the Yin family under the identity of its “Second Master,” acting as the manor’s hidden protector and the practical reason it endured for five hundred years. 333 1565
