History

The Exorcism Panel first manifests before Zhong Bai after he slays the Wedding Dress Ghostess. It awards him 50 Exorcism Points and identifies his Divine Firmament Five Thunder Art as a technique that can be deduced through point conversion. Zhong Bai is initially shocked because the system only appears four years after his arrival in the world. 12

Its first confirmed non-combat reward comes immediately afterward: Zhong Bai uses the Rebirth Incantation to send 26 Wandering Spirits onward, receiving 260 points. This establishes that resolving spirits through reincarnation, rather than only destroying them, can also generate rewards. 12

As Zhong Bai’s cultivation rises, the system expands from a simple point-and-time conversion tool into a panel that tracks Karma Value, permits karma cleansing, evolves between world stages, and eventually adopts realm-gated rewards and fixed skill-upgrade costs. 200 202 209 269
