Background / History

Lingzhou Yue was a student at the Dao Alliance Academy five hundred years before the current story. Although only an ordinary student in status, she had already reached the Spirit Severing Realm, completed Grade A missions with ease, and was recognized as the figure who set the standard for the Dao Alliance's Heaven's Chosen title. She rejected both the title and positions such as teaching or service in the Wraith Punishment Bureau. 140

She later became Zongzhi Mountain's Sword Holding Elder and established herself on Sword-Wielding Mountain. At some point, her mother placed a restriction on her, leaving her injured by her own Sword Qi. 213

Lingzhou Yue selected Xiao Ran as her disciple after noticing that he ranked first in the Outer Sect assessment while possessing the supposedly cursed Balanced Five-Elements Endowment. Her private intention was to take on a disciple who looked promising on paper but would supposedly reflect poorly on her teaching ability. 140

During the Nameless City Underworld rescue mission, she used the Cultivation Transfer Great Technique to disperse her Spirit Severing cultivation into the Blood Jade Bone, reducing herself to Qi Refining for entry into the Wraith Domain. The change restored her youthful appearance; True Person Yinyue retained the Blood Jade Bone for safekeeping. 80
