A moment later, Ryuu Mufei also snapped back to reality. He waved towards the corner where Lin Yingbin and Ryuseki were hiding and said, "Come out, you two."

Then, Lin Yingbin's voice came through.

"You found us!" Lin Yingbin said as he walked out with an indifferent expression. He knew that since he'd been discovered, there was no point in hiding any longer, so he decided to show himself.

"I noticed you two a long time ago!" Ryuu Mufei said, rubbing his shoulder with a smile. "How about it? Let me treat you to a meal and make some friends. I quite enjoy making friends."

"Sure!" Lin Yingbin exclaimed, slapping his thigh excitedly. For Lin Yingbin, two things were enough to get him worked up: encountering a strong opponent and delicious food. When either of these happened, all other thoughts went out the window.

"You're really strong! Especially that special ability called Psychokinesis," Ryuseki said as he walked, praising him. "You can change the trajectory of bullets so easily."

Normally, Ryuu Mufei would have accepted such a perfunctory compliment. However, after the appearance of that guy in the hat who had shown his own strength, he had no intention of accepting this praise.

The three found a quiet and elegantly decorated place to eat. During the meal, Ryuu Mufei shared some of the things he knew with the other two.

While eating, Ryuseki and the others learned from Ryuu Mufei about the world's overall structure and how Zhi intended to control the Psychokinetic Clan. They also learned that Ryuu Mufei was the son of the clan leader of the Psychokinetic Clan, one of the Five Great Clans, and that Ryuu Mufei had left the clan to defeat Zhi.

"I've heard a little about Zhi," Lin Yingbin said, lowering his head in thought before continuing. "He's said to be extremely mysterious and quite terrifying. A long time ago, perhaps before the World Alliance was even formed, he was like a demon king. But, didn't they say he died later?"

Ryuu Mufei was silent for a moment. He put down his chopsticks, calmly took a sip of water, and then said, "No! He didn't die, and he's very much alive."

Lin Yingbin frowned and asked, "Then, what exactly does he want?"

"I don't know. I know nothing about that person. Even now, I don't know if I should even call him human." Ryuu Mufei took a deep breath and continued, "Even now, I only know about him from fragments of information."

Seeing Ryuu Mufei become dazed just by mentioning Zhi, Ryuseki couldn't help but ask, "Is he that strong?" His expression held a hint of doubt after hearing Ryuu Mufei's words.

"You have no idea." Ryuu Mufei's face showed fear. Just thinking about it made him feel threatened, and a sense of unease arose within him. "When I was young, I saw Zhi once. It was during a meeting between my father and him. I only remember that after meeting him, I cried for a whole month. A demon, that's the answer I got. That person's aura..." Ryuu Mufei's expression turned grim, as if the person he was describing was right in front of him. "It was as if it carried the scent of death. Just seeing him once made me feel like I was going to die. I'll never forget that feeling."

Ryuseki and Lin Yingbin looked at Ryuu Mufei in disbelief, finding it hard to comprehend what he had experienced.

"He has already annihilated two of the Five Great Clans: the Frost Clan and the Corpse Soul Clan," Ryuu Mufei added calmly.

Outside the window, dark clouds drifted across the clear sky, obscuring the sun and instantly casting a shadow over the land.

After hearing this, Lin Yingbin's voice began to tremble.

"What, he annihilated two of the Five Great Clans!"

Lin Yingbin gasped, and after composing himself, he continued, "Any one of the Five Great Clans possesses the power to destroy the world! He... he actually..."

Lin Yingbin's hand, holding the water cup, trembled uncontrollably. He didn't even notice that the water in the cup had spilled due to his shaking. This news was incredibly shocking to him. No, not just to him, but to the entire world.

Looking at the stunned Lin Yingbin, Ryuu Mufei spoke again, "And yet, even now, we still have no idea what Zhi's objective is."
