Time flowed, and before he knew it, nearly half the semester had passed. Counting on his fingers, Meisha had been here for quite some time. After spending some time with Meisha, Ryuseki discovered that this girl possessed a special, captivating aura. This attraction was difficult for him to resist, like a Venus flytrap's sweet trap, drawing him closer. At one point not too long ago, he even thought he saw the illusion of a snake beside her.

Going to and from school together every day had become a habit, but not one he tired of. More accurately, Ryuseki seemed unable to refuse this request. Although he had often gone to and from school with Kikka You before, it had never been this frequent. Even Ryuseki found this incredible.

According to Ryuseki himself, his feelings for Meisha were due to being drawn to some quality she possessed. However, Meisha, from the moment she met Ryuseki, seemed to have openly expressed her affection. It was only recently that Ryuseki realized his feelings weren't just being drawn to a sweet trap, but were actually love. Yet, he couldn't express his feelings, and the reason was obvious: Kikka You.

With such prolonged interaction, their relationship had developed into a lukewarm state. 'More than friends, but not yet lovers' likely described their situation. Although the barrier of friendship between them hadn't been broken, the fact that they liked each other was clear.

However, recently, Kikka You had been appearing in Ryuseki's dreams.

In Ryuseki's dreams, Kikka You was often standing in the rain, her hair wet and disheveled, looking at him. She kept murmuring his name.

Was it truly Kikka You sending him dreams? That wasn't necessarily the case. If anything, it was likely due to the guilt deep within Ryuseki's heart. He understood that Kikka You liked him, which was why he had been suppressing his own feelings.

One day, Ryuseki casually mentioned this to Meisha. To his surprise, Meisha proactively offered to accompany him to visit Kikka You's grave. Although her ashes had been taken away, Ryuseki still talked to the tombstone for a long time.

It was one deep autumn morning. As soon as Ryuseki stepped out, he found Meisha waiting for him at the door. Today, Meisha had styled her long hair into a beautiful updo. She was wearing a white shirt with a chestnut-colored, sleeveless, wide-neck sweater over it. For her lower half, she wore a short skirt with a crisp plaid pattern, paired with warm leg warmers and brown shoes. She looked very vibrant. In her hand, she held a white paper bag.

Seeing Ryuseki emerge, she handed him the paper bag.

"Here, for you."

As she spoke, she took out the contents – a scarf.

"I knitted it myself. It might not look very good, it's my first attempt! Hehe." Meisha grinned and put the scarf on Ryuseki.

Seeing Meisha smile so happily, Ryuseki felt too awkward to refuse. Since he didn't usually wear scarves, he quietly mumbled, "It kind of looks like a dog collar!"

Meisha, however, heard his quiet murmur and immediately pouted, looking unhappy. "I made this for you and you say that? What's wrong with you! I should have given it to Lin Yingbin or Ryuu Mufei. I spent several days finishing this." Meisha pouted, showing an annoyed expression. Despite her feigned anger, she still put the scarf on Ryuseki.

"Alright, alright, I'll take it." Ryuseki scratched his head sheepishly seeing Meisha like that, then took off the scarf and started walking home.

"Wear it!" Meisha stamped her foot and pouted at him.

Helpless, Ryuseki finally put on the scarf.
