Kikka You had already bid farewell to this bustling world, but time would not stop because of her departure. No matter what, time had to keep moving forward.

Before they knew it, nearly a month had passed since that incident. Summer vacation was over, and a new school term had begun.

Having entered their final year of middle school, the thing Ryuseki feared most was coming to the classroom. The seat beside him, which had once belonged to Kikka You, now stood empty. It was like tearing open an old wound.

On the first day of school, the chubby homeroom teacher hurried into the classroom and headed for the podium. Since he was unpopular, he did not have much authority in the class.
