Stark Industries was founded using technology supplied by Allen, who held a 30% stake while Tony's father Howard controlled the company. Its early consumer products included depilatory cream and electric tricycles before the company became a major military-industrial enterprise under Tony. Allen's original stake was later diluted to 15% and managed by Tony. 47 79

Tony first encounters Allen as Iron Man when Allen and Nanaue cause a disturbance in New York. Stark's armor identifies Allen as a former S.H.I.E.L.D. weapons expert, Stark Industries' second-largest shareholder, Howard Stark's friend, and Tony's alleged uncle. 222
