History

Early calamities

Pangu opened the Primordial Chaos, leaving behind the Pangu Temple, his essence-blood descendants, and Heaven-Opening Merit. Qin Xuan later receives Pangu’s recognition as the Thirteenth Ancestral Witch, confirming the continuing significance of Pangu’s legacy within the world. 1 2

Several Era Cycles passed amid successive disasters. The Dragon, Phoenix, and Qilin Clans fought for supremacy, devastating living beings and exhausting their fortune through Karma. The later Dao-Demon Conflict ended with Luo Hou’s self-destruction, which ruined the Western Continent’s Earth Veins. 2

Shift from Witch-Demon to Immortal-Demon conflict

Qin Xuan prevented the Ancestral Witches from immediately founding the Witch Clan, reasoning that a large clan dependent on them would draw them into a destructive struggle for supremacy. The decision caused Hongjun’s deductions to conclude that the Witch Clan had effectively vanished from the expected course of events. 3 5

The conflict that followed was instead centered on the Immortal Court and Demon Court. Qin Xuan later intervened in their decisive battle, destroyed the Demon Court’s Great Zhou Heavenly Stars Formation, and decreed that demons would rule the heavens while immortals ruled the earth for one Era Cycle. 85

After mediating the conflict to prevent further loss of life, Qin Xuan was acknowledged as the Limitless Heaven Dao Lord, a title bestowed through Pangu’s will. 86

Completion of Reincarnation and the Earth Dao

Hou Tu invoked the Great Dao and transformed herself into Reincarnation, establishing the Six Paths for souls to be judged and reborn according to their Karma. Her physical body became the six portals, while her primal spirit remained. 253

The completed Netherworld subsequently established Fengdu City and the Earth Dao. This changed the world’s spiritual environment, repaired Earth Veins, and strengthened the fabric of space. 257

Return of the Witch Clan

Once the Netherworld required more administrators and the earlier Immortal-Demon Tribulation was nearing its conclusion, Qin Xuan agreed to Dijiang’s long-delayed proposal to establish the Witch Clan. The clan was created through the Pangu Temple and assigned to assist Pingxin in operating the Netherworld. 259 268

Later, Qin Xuan arranged for tens of millions of Witch Clan members to be introduced into the Human Race’s lands, where they could live alongside humans and participate in shell trading. 385

Fundamental Order

Heavenly Dao

The Heavenly Dao was initially the dominant visible order of the Primordial Chaos. Qin Xuan observed that the Earth Dao and Humanity Dao were not yet prominent, leaving the Heavenly Dao with disproportionate control over the world. 61

It grants Merit for major acts such as founding the Immortal Court and maintaining world stability, but it also participates in tribulations and attempts to shape the world’s broader course. 35 94 327

Great Dao

The Great Dao exists above the Heavenly Dao and can respond to major declarations. Nüwa announced the Human Race to the Great Dao rather than the Heavenly Dao, while Hou Tu invoked it before establishing Reincarnation. 98 253

Earth Dao

Pingxin’s establishment of the Earth Dao completed a second major surge of vitality in the Primordial Chaos. Its effects included:

• A thirty-percent increase in Primordial Aura. 257
