Background / History
Tang San was raised by Tang Hao in Holy Soul Village. Tang Hao's diary states that he secluded himself there to raise Tang San as part of a plan to destroy Spirit Hall and both great empires. Tang San lived in a crude wooden house marked with a hammer emblem until Liu Yi later burned it down. 120
At Shrek Academy, Tang San trained under Grandmaster Yu Xiaogang and regarded Xiao Wu as his “child bride,” despite her stating that they were not biological siblings. His possessiveness over Xiao Wu became overt after seeing Liu Yi comfort her; Tang San denounced her as his sister, attacked Liu Yi with the Haotian Hammer, and struck Xiao Wu when she tried to help him. 33
Appearance
Tang San later abandoned his former blue clothing for blood-red attire. His appearance became markedly more sinister after his turn toward the Evil Soul Masters. 182

Personality
Tang San is repeatedly driven by resentment, humiliation, and possessiveness. After Liu Yi defeated him in training and later confronted Xiao Wu, Tang San became fixated on revenge, attempting to kill Liu Yi despite the overwhelming gap in strength. 32 33 74
His actions grow increasingly ruthless. He used hidden weapons against Liu Yi, killed Ling Feng with Yama's Invitation during an attempt on Liu Yi's life, and later joined Tang Hao in attacks on Shrek Academy and civilians. 14 103 122 159

Shrek Academy and Star Dou Great Forest
Tang San participated in Shrek Academy's assessment, using Blue Silver Grass and hidden weapons against Liu Yi. Liu Yi defeated him while suppressing his own Soul Power, establishing the hostility between them. 14
When the Titan Giant Ape abducted Xiao Wu, Tang San initially hesitated but pursued her into the Star Dou Great Forest. He defeated the Man Faced Demon Spider and absorbed its third soul ring, only for Liu Yi to tear the emerging Eight Spider Lances from his back. Tang Hao later stabilized Tang San's life-threatening injuries. 21 23 24
Escalating Conflict with Liu Yi
Liu Yi personally trained Tang San at level 30, easily defeating his Blue Silver Grass, poison, Mystic Jade Hand, and hidden weapons. Tang San thereafter vowed revenge. 31 32
Tang San attacked Liu Yi with the Haotian Hammer out of jealousy over Xiao Wu. Liu Yi shattered the hammer, pierced Tang San's shoulder, and spared his life. 33
During the Pan-Continent Advanced Soul Master Elite Tournament, Tang San's Blue Silver Cage failed to restrain Liu Yi, who struck him hard enough to send him into a wall. 100
Break with Shrek Academy
Tang San attempted to kill Liu Yi with Yama's Invitation during Spirit Hall's clash with Shrek Academy. The attack killed Ling Feng instead, and Tang San was reprimanded by Grandmaster and Flender. 103

Under the Evil Soul Masters' protection, Tang San became a Titled Douluo and inherited the Sea God's divine position. At Jialing Pass, he killed Hu Yan Zhen and the White Armored Earth Dragon, fought Bibi Dong and Qian Renxue, and severely injured Qian Renxue with Seagod's Twilight. 206 207
Death
Following the deaths of Chen Xin and Gu Rong, Liu Yi demanded Tang San from Lin Tian. Lin Tian surrendered the already captured Tang San, who was taken to Jialing Pass. 208
Liu Yi executed Tang San after a prolonged public torture performed as vengeance for the fallen defenders. Tang San pleaded for mercy, invoked their shared origin from Earth, and attempted suicide, but Liu Yi prevented it and killed him with a sword thrust through the throat. 208
