Background

Three years before her wedding, Qian Renxue was gravely injured by a Soul Beast in the Star Dou Great Forest. Liu Yi saved her from death, and she later chose to marry him in repayment and out of faith in his future potential. Their marriage received Qian Daoliu's approval and was scheduled for Spirit Hall's founding day. 1

Following the wedding, Qian Renxue returned to her long-term Heaven Dou Empire assignment. She used golden light to transform into Xue Qinghe, the empire's Crown Prince, replacing both her appearance and aura. She could not remain away from the empire for long without endangering the disguise. 2

As Xue Qinghe, she arranged Liu Yi's position at Heaven Dou Royal Academy and openly defended him against Prince Xue Xing and Dugu Bo, declaring that she had recruited him personally. 5
