Although Isaac had added many prerequisites, to Agarese, it all meant the same thing—
Blaspheming the gods!
For most wizards, that was still quite a lethal proposition, whether the target was an Outer God or a true god.
Therefore, not only did Agarese refuse Isaac's request, he was even considering whether to leave the Madheart wizard organization altogether. This was simply too crazy!
He had no interest whatsoever in becoming a Mad Witch!
Meanwhile, Isaac sensed Agarese's considerable resistance and sighed inwardly. He was somewhat disappointed, but he could understand it. In the extraordinary world, gods still held a rather special status, whether historically or as allies of the wizarding world.
Fortunately, Isaac had somewhat anticipated this situation. Thus, before Agarese could speak, Lapis Lazuli placed another document before him.
"Then we'll switch to this. I'll think of another way to handle research into Faith Wizards and Divine Knights. Like Serena, you only need to focus your efforts on [Bloodline]."
Hearing that, Agarese looked skeptically at the document in his hands and flipped through several pages. Seeing that the titles were all fairly legitimate research topics related to demon bloodlines, the tension in his heart finally eased.
Researching demon bloodlines was still rather dangerous, and counted as a minor taboo within the demon-dominance faction. But with Isaac the Mad Witch's "fine example" before him, Agarese no longer cared about such trivial matters.
Once he relaxed, he began seriously reading through the stack of documents. As he read further, like Serena beside him, he grew increasingly shocked!
Because even from these rough outlines alone, he could see the incredibly profound accumulation of knowledge Isaac possessed!
Within them, he saw an opportunity to go even further!
Compared to Serena's straitened circumstances, Agarese was undoubtedly in slightly better shape. Not only was he
