A week later, on what had once been some unlucky demon's territory, Kraft was studying demons and other creatures of Hell in his portable laboratory.
Since this lousy Hell Dimension had nothing but lava and scorched earth, there really wasn't much to explore. After sending several waves of demons flying for picking fights with him for no apparent reason, Kraft simply found a reasonably decent spot and set up a temporary base.
Almost every demon knew a spell or two, regardless of its kind, so Kraft wondered whether studying them might help him find a solution to his inability to learn magic.
After taking a tour of Hell, his three younger sisters also decided to stay with Kraft.
Angela went without saying. Arale could find fun anywhere, especially in a place like Hell, where she could run wild to her heart's content. Alice was easy to satisfy too; all she needed was a television that could receive soap operas.
Then the demons of Hell found themselves in deep trouble. Thanks to word spread by the demons who had picked fights earlier, they already knew Kraft's group was hard to handle. But what could they do when the group came knocking on their doors?
Besides collecting different kinds of demons for Kraft to study, Arale also sought out demons that looked particularly "cool" to play games with.
Naturally, those demons weren't about to sit around waiting to die. They might not be able to win a fight, but they could run!
And so a grand game of hide-and-seek swept through Hell.
