Background / History

Li Tian was originally a devoted novel reader before transmigrating into the Primordial World and becoming Tongtian, one of the Three Pure Ones. He accepted the identity while resolving to overturn the Intercepting Sect's doomed future. Upon completing an advance sect-establishment mission, he founded the Intercepting Sect at Buzhou Mountain and received the God-Tier Sect Master System's Novice Gift Pack. 1

Unlike cultivators who pursued Sainthood through Primordial Violet Qi and the Three Corpses method, Tongtian followed the path of Attaining Dao Through Strength. His Primordial Supreme Merit required complete comprehension of only one Great Dao for entry into the Saintly realm, though he continued pursuing mastery of the Three Thousand Great Daos. 14 15

He rapidly built the Intercepting Sect into a major Primordial World power. Its inauguration drew countless cultivators, while an Elder Council handled preaching, discipline, alchemy, and artifact refining.
