Background
The Human Race was born in accordance with destiny and possesses the Innate Dao Body, making its members naturally close to the origin of the Great Dao. Their aptitude, low resource dependence, and exceptional reproductive capacity allow them to multiply and cultivate at extraordinary speed. 40
Its earliest generations endured a hostile Primordial World, where tribes faced ferocious beasts, demon attacks, and disasters capable of killing billions. The race nevertheless developed methods of survival and civilization: the Innate Eight Trigrams for divination, marriage rites, record-keeping, music, agriculture, writing, calendars, and the Nine Provinces. 78 91
The Three Human Ancestors established the race's basic footing by teaching survival skills, agriculture, laws, and governance. The Three Sovereigns later strengthened its cultural and political foundation: Fuxi derived the Innate Eight Trigrams, Shennong tasted herbs and established the five grains, and Xuanyuan developed rites, music, punishments, names, and calendrical order. 490 699
Despite being recognized as the protagonist of Heaven and Earth, the Human Race was gradually weakened after the Investiture of the Gods. Its Fortune Divine Dragon dispersed, the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors were confined to Huoyun Cave, and the Three Ancestors were restricted to the Ancestral Land. The Saints and Dao Ancestor Hongjun are portrayed as suppressing the race to prevent its renewed rise. 491 550 605

Story Role / Major Arcs
Decline after the Investiture of the Gods

Alliance with Daoist Qingping

The Three Ancestors and Ying Zheng ultimately accept his proposal to recast the Human Dao Fortune Divine Dragon, entering an alliance with him despite the danger of provoking the Heavenly Dao and Saints. 492 493 553
Mount Tai Fengshan and the Human Dao Revival
After Ying Zheng unifies the Human Race tribes, the Mount Tai Fengshan ceremony is used to gather scattered Human Dao Fortune through the Kongtong Seal. The re-forming Fortune Divine Dragon alarms Hongjun and prompts open resistance from the Saints. 555 600 605
