Background

Li Tian was a devoted reader who transmigrated into the Primordial World as Tongtian, one of the Three Pure Ones. Arriving with knowledge of the Intercepting Sect’s eventual downfall, he resolved to overturn that fate rather than accept the destruction of his sect and the betrayal of his brothers. 1

He received the God-Tier Sect Master System, including the Primordial Supreme Art, an evolving Sect Master’s Seal, and an Innate Sect Master’s Edict. Its disciple-based rewards, cultivation co-practice, and strength-integration functions shaped his long-term strategy: build an overwhelming sect, accumulate talent and resources through its members, and use that collective strength to defy destiny. 1

Tongtian founded the Intercepting Sect ahead of schedule and drew Fuxi and Nuwa into its early core. He later chose the Three Immortal Islands as its base, formalized its hierarchy, established an Elder Council, and developed recruitment, contribution, and management systems far more structured than the loose factions around him. 13 16 19

His early cultivation centered on Buzhou Mountain, where he used Pangu’s lingering pressure to temper his body, discovered Essence Blood Jade Marrow, and rebuilt his foundation.
