The Trimurti are all self-born.
Brahma, the creator god, is responsible for creation; almost all life in the world originates from him.
Narada was born from Brahma's forehead.
Goddess Saraswati was born from the thumb of Brahma's left hand, thus Brahma and Goddess Saraswati are both father and daughter, and husband and wife.
Upon hearing this, Goddess Saraswati smiled and shook her head.
Her eyelids gently lowered, and she closed her eyes.
"Thank you, Mother!"
Narada rejoiced, clasped his hands in prayer, and with a turn, his form vanished into the Brahma Realm.
"Where should I go next?"
"That prayer should be from the Earth Realm, Father is also there, I will go to the Heavenly Realm!"
Narada thought with a smile.
The Earth Realm.
Amidst a stretch of scorching lava, hot steam billowed, emitting terrifying extreme heat.
A tall, bare-chested man stood on one leg in the lava.
His hair was disheveled, his body emaciated, and his face was covered in ash. However, apart from being thinner, his features were identical to Asura King Golden-Eyed, with almost no discernible difference.
He was Golden-Eyed's twin brother—Garunemi!
"Praise to the Supreme Lord Brahma!"
"Praise to the Supreme Lord Brahma!"
Garunemi's eyes were tightly shut, and he continuously murmured, praising Brahma, the creator god.
The powerful might of Tapasya erupted from his body, transforming into countless potent, invisible forces that destroyed everything nearby. Whether it was lava, mountains, or earth, all turned to dust and ashes under this power of Tapasya.
A brilliant golden light appeared in the air, and Brahma descended.
Brahma looked at Garunemi below, his smiling face momentarily stiffened, a hint of awkwardness in his expression.
However, since he was already here, he had to go through the motions.
Swish!
Brahma raised his right hand, and golden light emanated from his palm, falling onto Garunemi.
At this moment, under Brahma's power, the lava calmed, the intense heat dissipated, and the wounds all over Garunemi's body vanished. His emaciated physique also regained its original robustness.
Garunemi's eyes snapped open.
He lowered his head and looked at his restored body, his gaze focused, flickering with extreme excitement.
The long Tapasya was finally complete!
"Your Tapasya is complete. What do you desire?"
Brahma said slowly.
Garunemi tilted his head up, his eyes filled with excitement. He spread his hands, revealing his broad chest, and voiced his most greedy blessing.
"I desire eternal life!"
"Brahma!"
Garunemi exclaimed excitedly.
"I cannot grant the blessing of immortality!"
"Life is truth, and death is also truth. Birth, aging, sickness, and death are the cycle of all things in the world, the truth of the universe. The blessing of immortality violates the laws of the world. Even Shiva and Vishnu cannot grant such a blessing."
"Please request another blessing!"
Brahma explained.
Upon hearing this, Garunemi's triumphant excitement from successfully completing his Tapasya receded.
Is that how it is after all?!
Garunemi's gaze became calm.
He took a deep breath, calmed his mind, looked up at Brahma, clasped his hands together, bowed slightly, and uttered the blessing he had long prepared.
"O my Lord! The greatest of bestowers!"
"If you charitably grant me the favor I desire, then please do not let me be harmed or killed by the beings you have created!"
Garunemi's voice grew louder, his tone becoming more impassioned.
"Grant me not to die within or without any dwelling, not by day or by night, not in the sky or on the earth. Grant me not to perish by beings other than those you have created; weapons shall not harm me, neither man nor beast shall cause my death!"
"Grant me not to die by any existing or non-existing entity, and grant me, immortality from any god or demon; the Naga serpents of the lower realms shall not harm me."
He spread his hands and shouted aloud.
"No one can harm you on the battlefield, therefore you are invincible!"
"Grant me also invincibility."
"Grant me the incredible power gained through Tapasya, which can never be lost!"
Golden Bed's eyes shone brightly, his voice impassioned. Waving his hand grandly, like a conductor in a spring, he elaborated on his blessings.
Brahma listened patiently to the blessings Golden Bed wished to receive.
Undoubtedly!
This blessing was far harder to decipher than Golden-Eyed's.
If there were a scoring system for requested blessings, Brahma would have given Golden Bed full marks, full marks for his logical thinking.
It truly wasn't immortality!
It perfectly fit the rules!
Brahma's expression was unreadable. He raised his right hand, and streams of golden light scattered down, merging into Golden Bed's body.
"As you wish!"
As you wish! As you wish...
Echoes of the blessings reverberated in all directions, the Sanskrit phrase 'Tathastu' resonating continuously. Within these echoes, Golden Bed felt the changes within himself.
Powerful blessing energy surged within his body.
What is invincibility?!
He, Golden Bed, was invincible!
"Time to go back!"
Golden Bed walked barefoot, taking large strides, slowly exiting the now calmed lava region.
Three familiar figures appeared before him.
Leading them, holding a Serpent Cane, with snow-white hair and a stern face, was Sukra.
To his left was a young man with handsome features, Golden-Eyed's second son, Garunemi. To his right was also a young man, with an unremarkable appearance, only a black cloth tightly bound around his eyes, Golden-Eyed's adopted eldest son, Andhaka.
Seeing the three approach, Golden Bed quickened his pace, walking up to the Asura Mentor, Sukra.
"Mentor!"
He first glanced at Andhaka and Garunemi as a signal, then clasped his hands together and politely bowed to Sukra.
Sukra nodded gently.
At this moment, Golden Bed, with a joyful expression, looked left and right and asked curiously, "Where is Big Brother?"
Sukra's expression stiffened. He snorted coldly and turned his head away.
Garunemi also showed a sad expression.
"Father is dead!"
Andhaka suddenly spoke.
Boom!
Golden Bed's body trembled as if struck by lightning. He was stunned, disbelief flooding his eyes, followed by tears of grief and anger welling up, and killing intent erupted.
"Who! Did it!"
Andhaka lowered his head sadly and said, "Vishnu the Preserver and the Devraj killed Father!"
Upon hearing this, Golden Bed slowly clenched his fists.
"I will avenge Big Brother!"
Golden Bed said coldly.
With that, he turned to leave.
"Wait!"
At this moment, Sukra suddenly reached out and blocked Golden Bed.
"The Earth Realm is in chaos now, with various Asuras vying for the throne. You must first defeat them and obtain the power of the Earth Realm to become the Asura King."
"Only then will you have a better chance of avenging the Devraj and the Preserver!"
Sukra said.
Golden Bed stared directly at Sukra, taking a deep breath, suppressing his grief and anger.
"I understand!"
His voice was hoarse.
Golden Bed's eyes were gloomy. He strode forward with an air of unparalleled arrogance, heading aggressively towards the Asura Temple.
"Devraj, Vishnu, you wait!"
"Let's see who can stop me!"
In the Heavenly Realm.
Sudarshana City.
Indra was on his way to tour the gardens.
"Let's plant this Wish-Fulfilling Divine Tree right here!"
Garunemi had nothing to say. He was a rather ordinary Asura King, but his son-in-law was the one born from Shiva's wrath, the Water-Bearer.
