Arrival in the Underworld

The massive mountain descended slowly yet swiftly.

The space beneath Five Finger Mountain seemed to groan under the unbearable pressure. Space Rifts appeared one after another, tearing apart everything within them.

Moreover, the closer Five Finger Mountain came to the ground, the denser the Space Rifts became.

"Screech, screech, screech..."

Under the crimson Fire Element Sovereign Power, wounds torn open across Korklav's body by the Space Rifts had barely appeared before they healed again. Countless streams of blood dyed Korklav into a bloody figure.

With such injuries, Korklav could no longer hold on. He collapsed onto the ground, his throat already hoarse.

"Th-this is Elder Roy?"

On the Metal Life, Shelley and the other three had completely lost the ability to speak.

"Too strong!"

They all knew that Elder Roy was an incredibly powerful Seven-star Demon.

Shelley in particular had been the one to bring Roy into the Four Divine Beast Family.

And because of her own recklessness, she seemed to have increased the difficulty of Roy advancing to Paragon in the future by more than ten thousandfold.

Yet, only a little over a hundred thousand years had passed, and Elder Roy's strength had undergone another tremendous increase.

After using Sovereign Power, that attacking Seven-star Demon's strength had absolutely risen to an extremely terrifying level.

But unexpectedly, Elder Roy had defeated that powerful enemy in a single move.

Although Elder Roy had used Sovereign Power, this also meant that his strength had definitely reached the level of the Four Divine Beast Family Patriarchs. Otherwise, there was no way he could have won so easily.

Shelley and the others even began to wonder whether Elder Roy might be stronger than their own Patriarch.

With that thought, the way Shelley and the others looked at Roy carried a trace of fear.

It was reverence for the strong.

The Five Finger Mountain descending from the heavens finally struck the ground. The earth seemed like a turning dragon, heaving up ridge after ridge. Mountains and rivers shattered, while grass and trees were burned away.

The spreading Space Rifts carved deep ravines across the land.

Dense Power of the Earth High God shone in Roy's palm. Bolstered by Sovereign Power, the might of Five Finger Mountain rose another level.

"Aaah!"

At last, the Fire Element Sovereign Power around Korklav dissipated. His entire body was crushed into a bloody pulp beneath Five Finger Mountain, dying completely.

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!

Roy swept out with his Spiritual Sense, collected the divine sparks and Spatial Rings of those attackers, and only then returned to the Metal Life.

"Alright, the danger has been resolved. Let's continue onward."

"Yes, yes, understood, Elder Roy!"

The Five-star Devil piloting the Metal Life hurriedly responded with respect, as though merely being able to speak with Elder Roy was an immense honor.

This was a great figure on the same level as the Patriarchs!

"Elder Roy."

When Shelley and the others saw Roy return, they put away the Sovereign Power they had taken out and hurriedly bowed to him.

"No need for such formalities." Roy waved his hand. "Shelley, the four of you need to be more vigilant from now on."

"I have also heard of what the Four Divine Beast Family members remaining in Hell have been doing. So this may be the first attack we have encountered, but it definitely will not be the last."

"Since you chose to follow me to the Underworld to develop the family, I naturally hope that everyone can arrive safely in the Underworld. I do not want anyone to suffer losses along the way."

"Therefore, for the remainder of the journey, I want the four of you to take turns guarding this place. Use your Spiritual Sense to search for hidden enemies. The moment you discover any attackers, immediately send me a spiritual message."

"Yes, Elder Roy."

Shelley and the others did not dare neglect Roy's instructions.

This was not only because of Roy's immense strength, but also because they did not want the family to suffer losses before even reaching the Underworld.

The stronger one became, the lower the chance of producing the next generation.

Thus, among these ten thousand Four Divine Beast Family members, more than two thousand were Saint Domain experts. They were the foundation for the family's growth and prosperity in the Underworld.

Of course, Roy's group was not the only group of Four Divine Beast Family elders who had chosen to go to the Underworld.

It was simply that compared to the elders heading for the Seven God Planes and the other three Supreme Planes, their numbers were much smaller.

Clearly, the Four Divine Beast Lord Gods had a very clear understanding of their own position.

The limit of the four of them was now Law Sovereign. They were still far from becoming Rule Sovereigns.

Roy naturally did not know that Shelley and the others regarded him as a powerful figure comparable to the Four Divine Beast Family Patriarchs. Even if he had known, Roy would at most have smiled.

Those who came to attack the Four Divine Beast Family's convoy had either killed Four Divine Beast Family members before and obtained a considerable amount of Sovereign Power, wishing to plunder them once more.

Or they were family members driven out of their original cities by the Four Divine Beast Family, forced to wander outside.

But without exception, every group that dared attack the Metal Life convoy was led by at least a Six-star Devil.

Over the course of these attacks, Roy once again displayed his formidable strength.

Beneath Five Finger Mountain lay one dead soul after another.

And so, after more than a century of trials and hardships, Roy's group finally arrived before the Planar Teleportation Array.

After showing the token of the Four Divine Beast Lord Gods, the soldiers guarding the teleportation array from the Sovereign Legion did not charge Roy's group any fees.

A flash of light passed, and Roy's group vanished into Hell's Planar Teleportation Array...

Unlike Hell's seven continents, the Underworld had only one continent.

However, this single continent of the Underworld was even larger than all seven continents of Hell combined.

The Underworld was divided north and south by the Undead Sacred Mountain. The north was known as the Undead Realm, the place where the souls of all beings below the divine level returned after death in every plane.

After arriving in the Undead Realm, all undead had no memories of their former lives. Their strength was merely that of the weakest skeletons or undead. Only by absorbing their opponents' souls through slaughter could they gradually grow stronger.

Once the undead advanced to the God Realm, their souls would undergo the cleansing of the Laws of the World, recovering the memories of their former lives and living a Second Life.

Of course, after reaching the divine level, these undead would travel south in the Underworld.

That was the stage for the Underworld's true powerhouses.

At the Undead Sacred Mountain, the Planar Teleportation Array suddenly blossomed with a dazzling radiance, causing the soldiers of the Sovereign Legion guarding it to turn their gazes toward the array.

Such dazzling light indicated that a great many people had been teleported at once—at least ten thousand.
