Background / History

Roy originated in a remote tribe founded by Laurent Morgan north of Crimson Flame Prefecture on the Violet Thorn Continent. His unusually rapid cultivation and early fusion of Earth Laws drew the attention of the Morgan Tribe and, later, the Four Divine Beast Family. 6 26

When Sanhe City required someone strong enough to recruit residents through Crimson Flame Prefecture’s Planar Teleportation Array, Roy accepted Laurent’s mission despite having only recently become a god. He spent 308 years traveling and cultivating, refining his Earth Travel Technique and seeking the convergence of Life Force and Gravity Space. 10

After completing Demon missions and recruiting settlers from the Material Planes, Roy returned to Sanhe City with nearly ten thousand Saint Realm experts. His defeat of repeated ambushers established his “Star Demon” reputation and led Laurent to offer him the Deputy City Lord position. 14 15

Laurent, Fred, Quiller, and Shelley later revealed themselves as members of the Four Divine Beast Family and invited Roy to become an elder. The family’s patriarchs came to view him as a potential Sovereign’s Emissary, while Roy increasingly became involved in their major operations and conflicts. 17 26

Roy is typically depicted in a composed, imposing manner befitting his rise from a tribal god to a Sovereign.

He can be considerate toward subordinates, as shown by his concern for Chris’s circumstances and his decision to let her remain with her parents. At the same time, he is capable of calculated manipulation and ruthless punishment, including torturing Douglas and making him Shelley's slave. 27 62 64 65

Roy values loyalty and repays significant debts. He considered his billions of years connected to the Death Sovereign sufficient repayment for a past favor, then chose to leave with the Four Divine Beast Lord Gods. 79 80
