Background / History

Han Fei was raised by Han Qishan, whom he continues to address as his father, though Han Qishan later confirms that he is not Han Fei’s biological parent. Han Fei entered Taihe Peak at ten years old and spent twelve years training there under Daoist Sanyuan. 117 118

His true lineage is concealed for much of his early life. Han Yu eventually reveals that Han Fei is the son of Han Lei, the Sky Thunder Saint, and inherited the Blood Qilin bloodline from his father and the Forbidden Eye from his mother’s family. The Hall of Deification had targeted both bloodlines because their union could threaten its dominance. 117 118

Before his rise, Han Fei was known as a docile, frequently bullied disciple. His access to a group containing ancient figures such as Pangu, Fuxi, the Yellow Emperor, Yan Di, Chi You, Hong Jun, and others transforms his cultivation, combat training, and understanding of techniques. 3 13 24
