Void... Void Century?

In the movies, Odin had not known where the Aether was hidden.

He had still been young when Borr fought the Dark Elves. Under Borr's leadership, Odin had only known that such a history existed and had even believed that Borr had destroyed the Dark Elves along with the Aether particles.

But Ancient One knew.

She was the greatest mastermind in this universe. With the Time Stone, she had seen far too many futures. If not for the gap in strength, what business would the Avengers even have had?

Human ability had its limits, mage!

"Actually, after Borr used the Bifrost to seize the Aether particles from Malekith, Malekith knew the Dark Elves were finished. He led part of his people out of the universe and vanished without a trace."

"But sealing the Aether particles happened long after that war."

Ancient One first briefly recounted some history she had heard from Great God Eternity.

Lowett asked curiously, "What do you mean?"

"The Dark Elves possessed the Reality Stone for too long. Before Malekith forged it into Aether particles, they used the Reality Stone's power to leave too many indelible wounds upon this universe—not only upon their own homeland, but beyond the Nine Realms as well."

This was intelligence that had never appeared in the movies!

Lowett listened with great interest.

"And then?"

"And then... in order to repair this ravaged universe, Borr set out to search for the remaining Infinity Stones." Ancient One glanced at Lowett's left arm, which radiated terrifying fluctuations, and smiled.

"I presume you have noticed as well, sir? To wield the power of the Infinity Stones, the user must endure the backlash of powerful gamma radiation."

Lowett shrugged and did not deny it.
