Zhao Xuan and Tang San entered the City of Slaughter, crossed the Hell Road, and faced an ambush by Spirit Hall elders before Tang Hao helped them drive off their attackers. Zhao Xuan then returned to Ghost Island and helped the Lord of Illusory Annihilation free the God of Souls from the Fallen God, leaving with a new construction method as they began repairing their world.

• Zhao Xuan and Tang San entered the City of Slaughter, where Tang San awakened a Domain and both fought their way toward one hundred arena victories.
• The King of Slaughter granted Zhao Xuan, Tang San, and Hu Liena permission to leave, but they chose the Hell Road trial and crossed it together, defeating giant bats and the Ten Headed Fierce Yang Serpent.
• After Tang San threw a Snow Swan Kiss into the blood lake, Zhao Xuan and the others emerged to face five Spirit Hall elders, and Zhao Xuan stayed behind to fight while Tang San fled.
• Tang Hao arrived to help Zhao Xuan, who chased down and killed Ghost Douluo, while Tang San asked to face Yue Guan himself.
• Zhao Xuan returned to Ghost Island and joined the Lord of Illusory Annihilation in confronting the Fallen God, using Divine Slaughter's Domain to draw out the Rakshasa God’s seal and lightning to attack him.
• The Fallen God invaded Zhao Xuan’s Sea of Consciousness, but the World Cleansing White Lotus dissipated his corrupted divine soul, freeing the God of Souls.

Zhao Xuan returned to Shrek Academy, confronted Qian Renxue’s disguise, and helped the survivors of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan join forces with the Heaven Dou Imperial Family and other factions. As Spirit Hall advanced its secret plans, Zhao Xuan resolved to strengthen his abilities for the conflict ahead.

• Zhao Xuan returned to Shrek Academy, rejoined Hermione, and became a teacher, where he repeatedly singled out Zhou Ze during lessons.
• Ning Fengzhi told Zhao Xuan that the real Xue Qinghe was dead and asked him to help the imperial family and protect Princess Xue Qingqing.
• Zhao Xuan defeated Jade Lord Douluo in a spar, then began training Xue Qingqing and Guli.
• At Xue Qinghe’s banquet, Zhao Xuan discovered that the Crown Prince was Qian Renxue, who admitted her identity and tried to recruit him.
• Ning Fengzhi reported that Spirit Hall had destroyed the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan’s settlement, so Zhao Xuan brought Grandmaster and Liu Erlong to Seven Treasures City to aid the survivors.
• Ning Fengzhi and the clan leaders agreed to unite their remaining Soul Masters against Spirit Hall, while Tang Yuehua offered to inform the Clear Sky Sect and Prince Xue Xing appointed Grandmaster the empire’s Chief Soul Master.
• Zhao Xuan returned to Shrek Academy and resolved to develop his Soul Power and use his Second Spirit to create an illusion realm with simulated domains as Spirit Hall secretly mobilized its forces.

Zhao Xuan uncovered Spirit Hall’s attacks on the border and destroyed a concealed force in Sunset Forest while Heaven Dou prepared for war. After Tang San returned and the Shrek group tested themselves against Zhao Xuan’s Illusionary Body, Tang San announced his plan to build a sect around Hidden Weapons.

• Zhao Xuan investigated villages devastated by black mist, then helped defend Yellow Sand City from Spirit Hall attackers and captured their Soul Emperor commander.
• At the imperial council, Zhao Xuan agreed to seek an alliance with the Star Luo Empire, while Oscar returned and demonstrated his Mirror Sausage soul skill.
• Zhao Xuan brought Xiao Wu back to Shrek Academy and took Xue Qingqing to Sunset Forest, where she gained a Third Soul Skill from a two-thousand-year Ethereal Goose.
• Zhao Xuan found a camp of more than fifteen hundred Spirit Hall soul masters and killed many with lightning before forcing the surviving bishops to surrender.
• Sang Yang revealed that his team had taken part in the siege of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, and Zhao Xuan escorted the survivors back to Heaven Dou City.
• Tang San returned to Shrek Academy and reunited with Xiao Wu and the others, then joined a spar against Zhao Xuan’s Illusionary Body.
• Tang San used his Blue Silver Domain to disrupt Zhao Xuan’s perception, but the Illusionary Body defeated the group of eight before Grandmaster stopped the match.
• At the academy celebration, Tang San told Zhao Xuan he planned to establish a sect based on Hidden Weapons and poison arts, including weapons he claimed could kill a Titled Douluo.

Zhao Xuan helped Tang San build the Tang Sect, destroyed Qinshan Sect, and brought the four single-attribute clans and Dugu Bo into its orbit. As Spirit Hall’s strength grew, Zhao Xuan helped Heaven Dou prepare for war and direct its first attack against the Seals Duchy, leaving the continent on the brink of a wider conflict.

• Zhao Xuan accepted Tang San’s proposal to establish the Tang Sect, secured an estate and funding from Emperor Xue Ye, and reached level seventy before creating his seventh spirit skill, Data Body.
• After learning that the Balak Kingdom and the Seals Duchy had joined Spirit Hall’s camp, Zhao Xuan destroyed Qinshan Sect as a warning to the other powers.
• Tang San brought Tai Tan, Niu Gao, Bai He, Lou Gao, and Yang Wudi into the Tang Sect, where the four clans formed its Strength, Defense, Break, and Agility Halls.
• Zhao Xuan and Tang San recruited Dugu Bo, who offered the Tang Sect access to the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well and agreed to protect Dugu Yan’s family for five generations after his death.
• At the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, Zhao Xuan and Tang San met Da Ming and Er Ming, discussed using their auras to turn Spirit Beasts against Spirit Hall, and discovered signs of a mysterious presence beneath Sunset Forest.
• Tang San and Zhao Xuan dealt with unruly recruits, the Tang Sect’s financial deficit, and suspected Spirit Hall spies, while Tang San’s companions left Heaven Dou City.
• At the royal military drill, the Heaven Dou forces demonstrated their cavalry, soul master formations, and Godly Zhuge Crossbows, and Princess Xue Yue reported Spirit Hall’s growing numbers and strength.
• Zhao Xuan persuaded Emperor Xue Ye to target the Seals Duchy, and Heaven Dou troops captured three of its cities in one day as the Star Luo Empire mobilized and Bibi Dong ordered Spirit Hall’s army to march.
