Shamu strengthened the Uchiha and his alliances while Konoha and the other villages reacted to shifting threats, including the Cloud invasion of the Mist and Obito’s expedition to the moon. The stretch ended with Muwi opening the Box of Paradise and a pillar of light drawing spies toward it.

• Shamu defeated Shimei’s God Tree and took Madara away after giving him ocular power and knowledge of new techniques.
• Shamu helped expose Danzo’s theft of Shisui’s Sharingan, then became deputy clan head and began arranging the Uchiha’s return to Konoha and support for Orochimaru.
• Shamu fought Pain, negotiated with the Cloud Village, and helped Orochimaru return to Konoha as an honored guest while building Hidden Sound Village’s strength.
• Shamu helped Itachi gain the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, and the Uchiha prepared for Fugaku’s illness as Keimei awakened his Mangekyō.
• The Cloud Village invaded the Hidden Mist, where Mei Terumi’s forces inflicted heavy losses before A arrived to bolster the attackers.
• Shamu continued training and expanding his alliances, pursued leads on Utakata, and joined the leaders in plans to revive Madara and Hashirama.
• Obito and Black Zetsu entered the moon and searched its overgrown ruins, while Shamu later watched as Muwi opened the Box of Paradise.
• The Box of Paradise sent a pillar of light into the sky, prompting spies to leave Konoha as Shikaku ordered the village guarded.

Shamu pursued his preparations for the war while Obito, Danzo, and the villages made their own moves. The arc ended with Obito toppling the God Tree to revive Kaguya, as Madara absorbed the tree and Minato and Itachi fled.

• Shamu trained his students, pursued intelligence about Obito, and arranged for Neji and Tenten to work together as the war approached.
• Hagoromo attacked Shamu and sealed his ocular power and Chakra, leaving him badly injured before he vanished and later reappeared with the Dragon Vein’s power to save Sara.
• Sasuke and Yahiko exposed the source of Boro’s power, while Jigen detected Urashiki Otsutsuki’s body and drew Chakra from the Ten-Tails.
• Obito attacked the Uchiha convoy, but Shamu and Kakashi confronted him, and Obito focused on Kakashi.
• Danzo learned that Hyuga Kaito’s Spore Technique had spread through most of the Hyuga Clan and decided to use Obito and Zetsu to kill Hiruzen and gain power.
• Yoya and Shisui stopped Hidan from cursing Yugito again, then brought the injured Yugito and Killer B to the Cloud Village for treatment.
• Madara prepared to cast Infinite Tsukuyomi, but Obito toppled the God Tree with Kamui Shuriken and declared that he would revive Kaguya to fight Shamu and Isshiki.
• Madara began absorbing the God Tree as Minato and Itachi recognized that Shamu’s predicted fourth possibility had occurred and used Flying Thunder God to escape.

Shamu helped defeat Kaguya and Madara, then guided the survivors through the war’s aftermath as new threats and political disputes emerged. The Uchiha prepared to leave Konoha, while Shamu’s allies faced Jigen and other enemies and he encouraged those around him to speak honestly about their feelings.

• Shamu exposed Sarutobi Hiruzen’s political schemes as Danzo manipulated Itachi into accepting responsibility for the Uchiha Clan’s destruction, while Sarutobi Takamasa secretly cooperated with Orochimaru to stage a purge.
• Naruto’s team gave its spare Chunin Exam scrolls to Shamu’s and Uchiha Rina’s teams, while Obito rescued Gaara and Kaede from Fa Yi’s extraction attempt.
• Shamu warned Future Sasuke about Boruto’s future catastrophe, reunited Naruto with Kushina and Minato, and helped Naruto face apologies from Konoha villagers.
• Shamu and his allies defeated Kaguya, while Boruto and Hikari recovered their memories and reunited, and the Allied Shinobi Forces later defeated Madara and ended the war.
• The villages formed the Celestial Organization, Haku chose to become a girl, and Kakashi and Rin acknowledged their feelings as Naruto and Hinata became engaged.
• Shamu declared that the Uchiha Clan would leave Konoha and accused Sarutobi Hiruzen of driving them out through discrimination, mishandling Danzo’s crimes, and manipulating the Hokage election.
• Jigen attacked Naruto, Sasuke, and Madara while Shamu protected their allies, and Nagato restrained Deepa after he attacked Konoha’s Anbu.
• Hizashi borrowed Root operatives for public security, while Shamu advised Sasuke not to leave his feelings for someone unspoken.
