Shamu and the shinobi faced Otsutsuki invaders while he maneuvered between the villages, Akatsuki, and the coming conflict. The Cloud Village withdrew after heavy losses, Obito remained at large, and Itachi sealed Hoshiki as the battles continued.

• Shamu caught Isshiki’s kick and fought him while Guy opened the Eight Gates to challenge Madara.
• Minato and the others confronted the Otsutsuki forces, while Shamu used his awakened control over space to erase Yōshiki.
• Shamu worked with Nagato to hide the Rinnegan and turn Akatsuki against Obito, then took Yahiko away while Nagato and Konan stayed together.
• Shamu and Orochimaru attacked Obito and the Demonic Statue, but Obito escaped through Kamui after Shamu damaged the statue.
• Shamu’s forces fought the Cloud Village, and Hidden Mist reinforcements killed three thousand Cloud shinobi and forced the village to withdraw.
• Shamu told Konan that Obito had caused Konoha’s Nine-Tails Incident and gave her evidence identifying him.
• Shamu fought Yahiko, sealed him, and prepared to take him back to Konoha after explaining what had happened.

Shamu strengthened the Uchiha and the Land of Radiance while intervening in the Hyuga conflict and preparing for threats gathering around Konoha. The Chunin Exams began amid a battle against the Otsutsuki, as Satori seized the Box of Paradise and headed for Konoha.

• Nagato sensed the Cursed Seal near his heart and told Konan he would wait until the Hashirama Cell enhancement was complete before trying to remove it.
• Obito and Kakuzu destroyed the Fire Temple, while Shamu traveled through the Land of Woods with Naruto, Hinata, Sasuke, Kimimaro, and Haku to learn Human Sage Art.
• Shamu and Orochimaru saved Neji and revived Hizashi, then forced Hiashi to confront the Caged Bird Seal system and its deadly consequences.
• Minato revealed himself to Jiraiya and later helped Shamu travel between Konoha and the Land of Radiance, as Shamu built up the territory and welcomed Konan and children from Amegakure.
• The Uchiha became more self-reliant after leaving Konoha, and Shamu received a mission to become clan leader while the Hyuga and others prepared for the Chunin Exams.
• Shamu retrieved the Kubisaki Lizard contract, while Hamura and Hagoromo chose Toneri to help restore the Shinobi World’s course.
• At the Chunin Exam entrance, Kimimaro exposed examiners Izumo and Kotetsu, and Haku dispelled their floor-number illusion.
• Hashirama, Itachi, Shisui, Kimimaro, Haku, Neji, Yoya, Gaara, Rasa, Nagato, and Deidara fought the Otsutsuki, while Satori killed Muwi, took the Box of Paradise, and flew toward Konoha.

Shamu exposed hidden histories, redirected the villages’ political plans, and helped prepare for the Otsutsuki threat while pursuing his own interventions. The arc ended with the Moon shattered, meteorites striking the world, and Momoshiki attacking Naruto and Sasuke.

• Orochimaru drew Haku’s soul into an embryo, and Tsunade and Karin kept the resulting being alive despite its impaired state.
• At Shamu’s first Heavenly Assembly, the nations agreed on development projects, and Shamu confirmed that he planned to revive Hashirama and Tobirama.
• Shamu showed the leaders a genjutsu movie revealing Kaguya’s history, Black Zetsu’s manipulations, and the crimes committed against the Senju, while he confronted Obito over Rin and Kakashi.
• Sasori left for the Land of Fire after Chiyo offered him her reanimation research, and Chiyo later sacrificed her life to revive him before Shamu promised to save her.
• Obito attacked the villages and pursued Gaara, while Shamu confronted Rasa over Gaara’s childhood and Yashamaru told Gaara that his family had loved him.
• Shamu guided Naruto and Sasuke through the removal of their inherited souls, challenged Jiraiya and Minato over the prophecy, and arranged political and military moves as the Allied Shinobi Forces prepared for war.
• Hiruko began his Golden Ring Eclipse ritual, while the Grass Ninja used the Box of Paradise to drain Gaara and Shamu watched the weapon’s seals come away.
• Shamu destroyed the Giant Tenseigan with Indra’s Arrow, splitting the Moon apart, as Momoshiki attacked Naruto and Sasuke and the villages fought to protect themselves from falling meteorites.

Shamu strengthened the Uchiha and expanded his influence while Konoha faced political upheaval, new threats, and conflicts across the shinobi world. The stretch ended with Ōnoki taking Deidara to train him as the Third Hokage reassessed the Uchiha threat.

• Shamu exposed the Hyuga crisis, while Danzo’s unauthorized operation against the Uchiha led the Third Hokage to strip him of his Advisory Elder position.
• Obito and Disornas pursued their plans, while Shamu helped lead the Allied Shinobi Forces and prepared to exploit the threat of a Cloud attack on the Hidden Mist Village.
• Shamu killed Eida and helped expose her false memories, then warned his allies about Kaguya’s possible revival and Madara’s plans.
• Shamu ran for Fifth Hokage as Konoha prepared an election, while he arranged clan ceremonies and pursued research into Hashirama Cells and missing Kekkei Genkai users.
• A Starsea Battleship carrying Otsutsuki soldiers approached the Shinobi World, and Minato sent Naruto, Sasuke, and Neji to disrupt its arrival.
• Shamu helped Gaara strengthen his seal and questioned Hizashi about the deaths of Nawaki, Dan, and White Fang.
• Tsunade took responsibility for Naruto’s protection and ordered Jiraiya not to follow him after school.
