Shamu prepared the villages for the Otsutsuki threat while battles, political upheaval, and personal reunions reshaped the Shinobi World. After returning from a long absence, he urged the Kage to unite, as Kakashi and Obito dealt each other potentially fatal blows on the battlefield.

• Shamu reunited Shion and Taraho, while Amado unleashed six God Tree Saplings and a Claw Mark invasion on Konoha.
• The Raikage, Gaara, Ōnoki, Yoya, and Shisui joined Nagato against Obito and Satori, while Orochimaru revived Minato and Naruto reunited with his father.
• Kumogakure tested its Ultra-Long-Range Chakra Cannon, and Shamu brought Boruto to spar with Naruto and Sasuke, who stabbed Boruto with the Kusanagi Blade.

Shamu strengthened the Uchiha’s position, prepared the allied forces for war, and dealt with threats to Konoha and the Hidden Tsuchigumo Village. The arc ended with Shamu reuniting Itachi and Izumi and revealing their future family.

• Shamu and the allied fighters suppressed Hagoromo’s Limbo Clones, while Shamu later helped expose White Zetsu parasites and the Sarutobi Clan returned to Konoha.
• Hashirama and Tobirama fought Tobi’s forces on the eastern front, while Shamu persuaded Yoya to rethink his feelings for Yugito and helped Utakata rescue Hotaru from Bairon’s ritual.
• After Kakashi lost his Sharingan, Shamu negotiated Rainbow Ore contracts for Hidden Mist and Radiance, and the Raikage discussed the Uchiha’s alleged dealings with Hidden Mist.

Shamu prepared the Shinobi World for an approaching Otsutsuki invasion while investigating the Dragon Vein, strengthening allies, and confronting threats from Kara and Obito. The arc left Shamu fighting Code after Code summoned someone whose immense force sent him flying, while Tobirama’s group captured Victor and learned more about Kara and Amado.

• Shamu warned the village leaders that an invasion would arrive in twenty-three days, organized preparations, and arranged for shinobi to contribute life force and Chakra to strengthen promising fighters.
• Shamu investigated Amado’s activities, trained Kimimaro with his Sage Core, and learned that Black Zetsu had killed Hyuga Sora to conceal that Jigen was Isshiki.
• Shamu opened the Dragon Vein seal to channel its energy through Sasuke and Itachi, but its spirit pulled him into a vortex as a girl was sent to stop the Dragon Vein’s danger.
• The Allied Shinobi Forces assembled against Obito and the Ten-Tails while the villages prepared for war, and Minato evacuated civilians as the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path fed on their terror and hatred.
• Shamu and his allies faced Otsutsuki Toneri, investigated the Dragon Vein and Kara, and arranged new defenses while Hinata received a replacement Byakugan and Shion agreed to help protect the command headquarters.
• Shamu confronted Code after Eida ordered his death, repeatedly overpowered him, and pinned him with Susanoo Armor before Code pulled someone from a Claw Mark and their force knocked Shamu back.

Shamu led the Uchiha out of Konoha, organized their new settlement, and pursued plans involving the Rinnegan and the Otsutsuki. The arc ended with Yōshiki absorbing Yunshiki and Ranshiki’s power, then overwhelming Shamu as Madara arrived to confront him.

• Shamu revived Kushina and restored Naruto and Sasuke’s life energy, then reunited Kushina with Minato.
• Shamu secured the Uchiha Clan’s departure from Konoha and arranged for its members to establish a settlement beyond the village.
