Gu Yue arrived at Shrek Academy during class hours and requested admission. Wu Changkong tested her against Meng Li; although defeated by his Feather Transformation, she demonstrated rapid elemental casting and was accepted into Class Five, Year One. She soon became Meng Li’s friend and training partner, while maintaining a rivalry with Xie Xie 20 21.

Her Elemental Envoy Martial Soul initially displayed command of six elements. She later demonstrated control over seven elements, using them for battlefield restraint, defense, mobility, and direct offense.
