Background / History
Tang Hao lost Ah Yin and the Blue Silver Emperor Right Leg Bone before the main conflict, leaving him enraged and obsessively searching for the person responsible. His search destroys a cave, while Luo Ling secretly obtains the soul bone. 73 77
He kept his relationship with Tang San concealed while allowing Yu Xiaogang to train the boy. After witnessing Tang San's poor performance against the Mystic Mage, Tang Hao questioned Yu Xiaogang's Blue Silver Grass training method and warned that he would personally take Tang San away if Yu failed. 114
Tang Hao intervened publicly when Luo Ling crippled Tang San's Clear Sky Hammer in Martial Soul City. His attempt to protect Tang San and Yu Xiaogang led to a confrontation with Martial Soul Hall's Titled Douluo, after which he fled with his son and became wanted alongside the Shrek group. 199 201 202
Following Tang San's hammer destruction, Tang Hao participated in Yu Xiaogang's Blood Devil Ritual. The ritual removed his long-standing Level 95 bottleneck and persuaded him that divine power was real. He subsequently revealed that Tang San's Blue Silver Grass came from Ah Yin and was meant to be the Blue Silver Emperor. 206 207
Tang Hao later accompanied Tang San through the aftermath of Hell Road and took him to Moonlight Pavilion so Tang Yuehua could help Tang San control his killing intent. When Luo Ling confronted them there, Tang Hao chose retreat over fighting after sensing approaching reinforcements. 232 233
After returning to the Clear Sky Sect, Tang Hao and Tang San were required to kill Luo Ling to restore the sect's dignity. Tang Hao remained uncertain, aware that Luo Ling's abilities and the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect's possible response made the task dangerous. 244 249
Luo Ling later infiltrated the Clear Sky Sect, controlled Tang Hao with Illusion Realm, searched his memories for the Great Sumeru Hammer and Ring Burst, and erased all memory of the intrusion. 241
Personality
Tang Hao is fiercely protective of Tang San. He repeatedly confronts stronger groups or hostile factions to defend his son, intervening at the Great Soul Arena, Martial Soul City, and Breaking Soul City. 111 199 201 310
His protectiveness is matched by volatility. Luo Ling repeatedly exploits his anger, while Tang Hao's fury over humiliation, Ah Yin, Tang San's injuries, and the Clear Sky Sect's downfall drives him toward increasingly reckless violence. 77 111 280
Despite his brutality, Tang Hao retains sincere paternal affection. He gives Tang San the Crystal Blood Dragon Ginseng even after learning it could help him reach Level 99 himself, urging his son to take it instead. 309
