Organization

Spirit Hall is divided into three principal halls: the Papal Hall, Elder Hall, and Worship Hall. The Pope holds effective authority over the organization outside the Worship Hall. 19

History

Spirit Hall’s recruitment policy toward exceptional soul masters is uncompromising: talented individuals are recruited when possible, while those who cannot be recruited may be destroyed. This practice dates to the previous Pope. 6

After witnessing Luo Ling’s Soul Leaving Body and concealment abilities near the Soul Hunting Forest, Bibi Dong, Chrysanthemum Douluo, and Ghost Douluo began observing him. Bibi Dong later accepted him as her disciple and brought him to Spirit City. 6 19 His appointment as Holy Son strengthened the Papal Hall’s position, although Qian Daoliu required him to prove himself against the Golden Generation first. 20 23

Under Bibi Dong and Luo Ling’s direction, Spirit Hall built a covert partnership with the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, accepted Dugu Bo as an elder, and developed a plan to expose the Heaven Dou Royal Family and Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan for their use of Evil Skills. 37 49 250

Spirit Hall later destroyed most of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan and imprisoned or killed its remaining members. 266 It then joined the Heaven Dou Empire and the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect in the campaign against Clear Sky Sect, fielding ten Titled Douluo while the Worship Hall’s core force remained uncommitted. 271 The victories established Spirit Hall as the continent’s dominant power and intimidated other soul master factions into silence. 275

When Bibi Dong departed for Sea God Island and Qian Daoliu later ceased managing daily affairs, Spirit Hall was left without an active leader. During the war between Heaven Dou and Star Luo, Spirit City became a refuge for commoner soul masters, with camps established outside its walls. 276 317
