Senyo trained the next generation, brought Tsunade and Orochimaru into his plans, and became entangled in Miroku’s battle with Moryo and Obito. The arc ended with Kakashi returning to Konoha to report Obito’s identity as Senyo prepared to meet him.

• Senyo assigned Kuji Uchiha to train the children, met Tsunade, and showed her Orochimaru’s laboratory and Ruri’s clone before asking her to keep the Uchiha safe from the Third Hokage.
• Senyo directed Kurama Murakumo to take Yakumo to Orochimaru, who discovered that her spiritual energy was nurturing a second soul, and Senyo began caring for her and taking her to school.
• Yomi freed Moryo and offered his body as a host, while Miroku died trying to seal the demon and Senyo preserved her soul in his special clone.
• Obito attacked Kakashi’s group, killed Shirakumo Hayama, and wounded Tenzo, but Senyo identified him as Obito and helped Kakashi and the others escape with Shion.
• Senyo and Orochimaru confirmed that the corpses of Minato and Kushina were genuine, while Senyo warned Nagato and Konan that Obito might test them and offered to help with the Eye of the Moon Plan.
• Senyo and Karatachi Yagura fought Killer B and Gyuki to rescue the Jie Shui Merchant Guild, then escaped with the merchants by creating a sea vortex.
• Senyo trained the children and welcomed Konan’s students to Konoha, while Kakashi returned and reported Miroku’s and Shirakumo Hayama’s deaths and Obito’s identity to the Third Hokage.
• Senyo explained Moryo’s condition to Miroku, then ordered Rinto to bring Kakashi to the meeting room.

Senyo reunited Naruto with Kushina, formed the new genin teams, and led Team Five on its first mission while the Akatsuki intervened in the Sunagakure-Iwagakure conflict. The arc ended with Orochimaru, Senyo, and their allies removing Madara’s curse seal and restoring Nagato as his Rinnegan began to evolve.

• Senyo abducted Sora from the Temple of Fire with Itachi’s help, removed his seal, and absorbed the Nine-Tails Chakra.
• Senyo and Orochimaru restored Kushina through Impure World Reincarnation, and Kushina reunited with Naruto on his birthday.
• Tsunade freed Saeko and the other prisoners from Konoha Hospital, and Senyo later graduated Naruto, Sasuke, Hinata, and their classmates as Genin.
• Senyo assigned the new teams and promised Gaara that he would not send him back to Sunagakure and would remove Shukaku when he could keep Gaara alive.
• Senyo led Team Five to Yaqing Mountain, where the students fought and killed the bandits who had murdered three women.
• Senyo and the Akatsuki offered to help Sunagakure against Iwagakure for a share of the mineral mine, and Sasori and Kakuzu fought Deidara’s forces.
• Senyo brought Nagato to Orochimaru, who removed the black rods and prepared to eliminate Madara’s curse seal while Nagato was dead.
• Orochimaru restarted Nagato’s heart after Senyo sealed away the curse talisman, and Nagato regained his strength as his Rinnegan began to evolve.

The Akatsuki Organization intervened in village conflicts and demonstrated Zen Kong’s ability to seal Tailed Beasts, while Obito pursued his own plans and Nagato revived Yahiko. After Sunagakure hired the Akatsuki to extract Shukaku from Gaara, Senyo revived Gaara and reaffirmed that he could stay with the Uchiha.

• Obito investigated Nagato’s disappearance and the Iwagakure-Sunagakure battle, while Sasori and Kakuzu fought Han until Konan and Zen Kong arrived to capture him.
• Konan and Zen Kong negotiated an end to the mineral dispute, then Obito confronted Konan and learned Akatsuki would take on more missions involving Jinchuriki.
• Obito recruited Hiruko, while Nagato used Rinne Rebirth to revive Yahiko and Gaara refused Chiyo’s offer to return to Sunagakure.
• Rasa hired the Akatsuki Organization to extract Shukaku, and Senyo sent Sasuke, Naruto, and Gaara on an escort mission that Sekishu and Zen Kong turned into an extraction attempt.
• Sekishu attacked the team, Zen Kong removed Shukaku from Gaara and sealed it, and Senyo found Gaara dead after the extraction.
• Senyo used the Dragon Life Reincarnation Technique while Karin supplied life force, and Gaara’s heart began beating again as Senyo’s hair turned white.
• Gaara woke at Uchiha Hospital, learned that his mother’s protection still guided the sand and that Senyo had saved his life, then Senyo welcomed him as one of his Uchiha.

Senyo trained Naruto and Sasuke while manipulating the political struggle around Naruto, testing ways to awaken the Mangekyō Sharingan, and reviving Shisui and Miroku. The stretch ended with Obito confronting Kakashi and escaping Senyo’s attack.

• Senyo arranged for Naruto to learn the Rasengan and Sasuke to learn Chidori, while Naruto discovered Minato was his father and rejected him for the time being.
• Hiruzen and Sekishu discussed the threat Senyo posed, while Konan and Kakuzu negotiated with Konoha over help with Naruto and the Nine-Tails.
• Senyo gathered Uchiha with Three-Tomoe Sharingan for a dangerous selection, and Zhiyu awakened her Mangekyō Sharingan after Senyo staged a threat to Ruri.
• Jiraiya confronted Senyo over Naruto, but Naruto vowed to kill Hiruzen after Senyo fueled his anger toward the Third Hokage.
• Senyo revived Shisui, who condemned Itachi for agreeing to destroy the clan, and Miroku also returned to life as Moryo sensed her power.
• Obito drew Kakashi into a forest confrontation, where Kakashi identified him and challenged him over Rin, Minato, and Kushina.
• Obito paralyzed Kakashi and crushed his eye, but Senyo’s black flames struck Obito, who escaped by abandoning a burning White Zetsu shell.
