Bit built an immortal Player force on Pedetia, and Robert led the Death Seekers from trench defense through battles against Cultists and Slaaneshi forces. With the governor executed and the Orks threatening Pedetia, the company prepared for war as Redito began turning two Players into Adeptus Astartes.

  • Bit recruited Earth Players into Astra Militarum bodies, and Robert led them to defeat Elias Holmes’s Cultists and complete their trench defense mission.
  • Walter promoted Robert to command the newly named 13th Company · Death Seekers, and Robert led the Players toward No. 9 Chemical Refinery.

Arc 1The Death Seekers

Bit built a force of immortal Players on Pedetia, and Robert led them from a ragged trench defense to victory over Elias Holmes’s Cultists. Promoted to command the newly named 13th Company · Death Seekers, Robert set out with the Players to capture No. 9 Chemical Refinery.

  • Bit awakened in the Warp, named himself, and began gathering information to strengthen his divine body.
  • Bit recruited Robert and other Earth players into Astra Militarum bodies on Pedetia, where they fought Cultists and learned how death and respawning worked.
  • After Robert shared his experiences online, Bit recruited ninety new players and placed Robert in command of a hundred-player company tasked with holding a trench for 24 hours.
  • Robert organized the Players into squads, and they repelled Elias Holmes’s disorganized Cultist assault through respawns, ambushes, and Ruthless Assassin’s explosive attack on Elias.
  • The Cultists fled, but a psychic wave later killed pursuing Players and hundreds of their pursuers, and Robert’s company nevertheless completed its defense mission with an outstanding rating.
  • Walter revealed that the trench was the Astra Militarum’s remaining territory, and Robert proposed attacking No. 9 Chemical Refinery.
  • Walter promoted Robert to company commander, and the Players chose Death Seekers as their designation before receiving orders to capture the refinery.

Arc 2Death Seekers in the Mid-hive

Robert’s Death Seekers raided the Chemical Refinery, killed a pure-blood Genestealer, and set out to rescue a besieged Skitarii force in the Mid-hive. After welcoming new Players, the Company encountered a Genestealer cult and began fighting its forces.

  • Robert sent scouts to inspect the Chemical Refinery, then led the Death Seekers into the lightly guarded factory and attacked the Cultists gathered there.
  • A pure-blood Genestealer named Ghost Claw Liam Bright killed Players in the refinery, but Robert’s forces pinned it down long enough for Assassin to destroy it with Meltabombs.
  • Assassin drew and used [Hell Fire], which destroyed a chemical tank and consumed his character’s Core Information, leaving Liu Yubin unable to log in while Bit reconstructed it.
  • Robert and Joker learned that Skitarii Alpha-7 was besieged at the Holy Trinity Forge Workshop, so Robert led the Death Seekers toward the Mid-hive and bought a Chimera Wyvern Suppressor.
  • The Company advanced through tunnels, where Players survived Cultist ambushes, friendly fire, and hallucinogenic spores, then activated the elevator to the Mid-hive.
  • Robert welcomed twenty newly qualified Players and distributed them among the squads as the Company followed directions toward the forge workshop.
  • Scouts No Name Yet and Fluttering Moth encountered Mas Kyle’s Genestealer cult in a plaza and attacked after realizing a Cult Sorcerer had clouded their thoughts.
  • Robert sent the Death Seekers against the cult, and Big Eagle Cop led Seventh Squad in crushing its vanguard with his Ogryn strength.

Arc 3The Death Seekers Advance

Robert led the Death Seekers through the factory and against the Genestealer cult while the Players gained new weapons, equipment, and recruits. As the company grew into a battalion, it captured a pure-blood Genestealer and advanced through the Underhive to assist Commissar Walter.

  • Robert’s Players charged the cult’s defenses, survived friendly artillery fire, and forced the Genestealers to retreat into the factory, where they cleared the residential district and burned down much of the enemy position.
  • The Players collapsed a building onto the Purestrain Genestealer, and Assassin later killed Cult Sorcerer Kyle with Hell Fire after Kyle’s psychic powers failed against them.
  • Robert brought the Death Seekers to the Holy Trinity Forge Workshop, where Redito Ossimia cleared them of infection and agreed to augment them and provide equipment.
  • Archer became Redito’s apprentice, obtained Plasteel information for Earth, and worked on Carapace Armor, while a Player’s experimental combat drug proved fatal.
  • The Players trained with Grav-chutes through repeated crashes, then Qiaogelisi Top Laner detonated a tactical nuke in the cult’s core nest and the survivors used the resulting chaos for combat training.
  • Robert established a Military Committee and held elections that kept him as Company Commander and made him its Chairman as the Death Seekers expanded into a battalion.
  • Assassin led the Death Seekers against a Genestealer stronghold, captured a wounded pure-blood Genestealer, and discovered that the interrogation whip made it believe it was a Fallen Angel.
  • Robert assigned Assassin to help Commissar Walter, and the Death Seekers advanced through the Underhive as Walter and his soldiers heard the approaching Imperial force and recognized a possible rescue.

Arc 4The Governor’s Fall

The Death Seekers defeated the Slaaneshi force in the Governor’s Mansion, executed the governor’s family, and faced the growing threat of Orks. As Pedetia prepared for war, Redito began augmenting two Players into Adeptus Astartes and new recruits joined the fight.

  • Walter rallied his soldiers with the Death Seekers’ supplies, while Assassin outlined a mission to scout the Upper Hive and Walter worried about the Orks.
  • Fluttering Moth, [Name? Haven't Thought of One], and Great Horned Beast entered the Upper Hive, identified the Governor’s Mansion as the likely Slaaneshi stronghold, and reported the threat to Robert.
  • Great Horned Beast, Name, and Fluttering Moth infiltrated the mansion, where Gerard ambushed them and Alvis later summoned the Slaanesh Space Marines with his Warcry Guitar.
  • The Death Seekers assaulted the mansion and suffered heavy losses before nearly a thousand Players overwhelmed Alvis in melee and killed him.
  • Moth found Kieran Pedetia and his family alive beneath the mansion ruins, then carried out the Military Committee’s order to execute them for treason.
  • Assimilation Complete killed Gaga Zhuang with God's Dice, survived an Imperial warship’s crash, and discovered the dead Martyr Chapter and its sole surviving Space Marine, Hobbes Rotspe.
  • Redito rescued Hobbes and began modifying two Player volunteers into Adeptus Astartes, while a game update brought new Players, features, and recruits to Pedetia.
  • Robert rejected risking the hive city’s people and industry against the Orks, as Joker assigned battalions defensive positions on a dune’s reverse slope.
