Arc 5The Ork War and Webway Plot

The Players and Pedetia’s forces stopped Red Eye’s Orks through attrition, nuclear strikes, and anti-radiation drugs while Herbert and the Space Wolves arrived to confront the crisis. The Space Wolves challenged the Players, and Ghost Face recruited BUG for a scheme involving Slaanesh cultists and a Webway entrance.

  • The Players built concealed trenches as Zobayan’s report of Ork armies ended when his Valkyrie was hit.
  • Red Eye’s Orks assaulted the Players’ defenses with Squigs, boar riders, and motorcycles, and the Players answered with heavy weapons and repeated countercharges.
  • After Red Eye’s forces retreated, Joker ordered the Players to regroup, but the Orks returned and attacked again until All Passion and Zero Skill killed Red Eye.
  • The Players’ leaders chose nuclear strikes and anti-radiation drugs against the Green Tide, and BUG joined the assault on weakened Orks in the irradiated zone.
  • Herbert and Kronar arrived on Pedetia, learned about the Fallen Space Marines and the planet’s battles, and Kronar led his Space Wolves toward the front.

Arc 6Death Seekers at Sel'Kor

Ghost Face led the Death Seekers from a brutal purge in the Jersey Sector into the Imperium’s war against the Tau, where they launched a reckless armored assault on Sel'Kor. The Tau fell back toward a prepared defensive line, and the arc ended with both sides locked in a costly battle of attrition.

  • Bug joined Ghost Face and the other Players in the Webway, where they used living Slaanesh worshippers to summon Zarakarnel and devastate a Dark Eldar force before Zarakarnel killed Bug.
  • Kronar, Herbert, and the Death Seekers helped destroy Pedetia’s Ork Warbosses, while Herbert stopped Players from privately executing a traitor and later investigated the Martyr Chapter’s quarters.
  • Robert approved Commissar Walter’s request to recruit surviving Pedetia soldiers, and Ghost Face chose the dangerous Jersey Sector as the destination for his legion of a hundred thousand Players.
  • Ghost Face joined Wendell Gage’s campaign, ordered mass executions and purges in the Jersey Sector, and reported millions killed before the War Council moved the crusade toward Hylandar.

The Imperium’s assault on Dalis became a brutal fight for Gaelbrin, where the Death Seekers’ advance and Ghost Face’s defiance helped force a truce with the T'au. The Expeditionary Force turned toward defending Macragge, while a final account showed Players altering Imperial affairs by processing its paperwork.

  • O'Res'Ka surrendered after human aircraft dropped Airborne Troopers and detonated nuclear weapons, but the Player and the troopers killed him and his remaining staff.
  • Bit met the Emperor in the Warp, who urged it not to abandon its old methods of preserving humanity.
  • After its assault on Feiyan failed to establish a base, the Imperium War Council redirected the expeditionary fleet to Dalis, where the Death Seekers advanced toward Gaelbrin amid growing divisions.
  • The Death Seekers suffered heavy losses to Tau and Kroot forces, then used poison gas to break through the right flank as the Tanalis Titan Legion and Ultramarines joined the battle.
  • Cato Sicarius and the Ultramarines pushed into the Tau rear while Commander Vision’s forces tried to stop them and the Death Seekers continued advancing toward the Tau command center.

Arc 8The Fall of Plantem

Taren Wick survived the Death Seekers’ desperate defense against the Tyranids and carried their warning to the Ultramarines. As the Tyranids invaded Plantem, Robert and the Death Seekers prepared a brutal defense, where Players repeatedly returned to battle and a Warp-weakened demon was overwhelmed by the swarm.

  • Taren Wick joined Ping Jie, Boni, and the Death Seekers on Tyrus Primus, where they built fortifications and fought successive Tyranid assaults while Wick learned that the mission was to gather intelligence.
  • A Hive Tyrant broke into the fortress, and Ping Jie sent Wick away with the Legendary Sink in an escape pod before the reactor explosion killed Ping Jie and Boni.
  • Wick reached safety, resolved to warn the Ultramarines, and encountered Trazyn the Infinite, who offered knowledge in exchange for the tank.
  • At Shirok Starport, Robert and the Death Seekers exposed a Genestealer infiltration, prompting Marneus Calgar to secure the starport and mobilize Ultramar against the Tyranids.
  • Robert identified Plantem as the Tyranids’ likely target and joined the Death Seekers and Ultramarines in preparing its defenses, while the Players burned fields and planned to make the planet costly to invade.
  • The Tyranids attacked Plantem, and the Players fought them with plasma weapons, traps, and repeated returns to battle as Ego organized the defense and the relief fleets gathered at Macragge.
  • Name’s squad killed a Lictor with help from a Ratling player, then ran out of ammunition and fought the Tyranids in the trenches until psychic flames and a Burrowing Python struck the line.
  • A demon emerged from a Warp rift at Hedgehog Fortress, but the Tyranids attacked it in the Warp Shadow and a Tyranid Warrior bit off its head, driving it back into the Warp.
