Background / History

Lei Dong was born as the first child of Lei Clan Chief Lei Ying and Huo Yu. He was unusually calm from birth, and within a month realized that he had transmigrated into the Dou Qi Continent with knowledge of its original history. Knowing the future dangers facing the ancient clans, he committed himself to cultivation from childhood. 1

At seven, he had become the Lei Clan’s foremost genius. Elder Qiu Qianchi obtained a Fallen Heart Flame seedling at Lei Dong’s request; although Lei Dong lacked a fire attribute and could not cultivate the Flame Mantra, the flame greatly accelerated his cultivation while inflicting severe nightly pain. 1
